I doubt the Ceberus brand would actually be resurrected unless it was just by some extremist loons. They lost any credibility they may have gained from the defeat of the Collectors with the reports of attacks on civilians and the experiments at Sanctuary.

Of course there were plenty of former Cerberus agents who had broken away during the Reaper conflict due to disagreements with the direction TIM was taking them. Some may still agree with Cerberus's core mission, and it isn't inconceivable they would create another group with another named that is supposed to protect humanity.

They'd have to be indoctrinated. But that's no more. Then again, I don't believe Petrovsky was indoctrinated.

I like to have a poster of TIM on the wall on my ship. Even have my main character wear a shirt that says humanity #1 with a Cerberus logo on the front. Maybe have my main character be able to smoke the same brand of cigarettes as TIM

I doubt Cerberus will play a role in the next game. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a line or two mentioning them or at the very least they're mentioned in the codex

I would rather shoot myself than play yet another ME game involving Cerberus.

Doesn't matter. It's a blank slate. I'd be very,VERY surprised if Cerberus shows up let alone referenced. Outlet because Mac Walters is directing doesn't mean anything.

There is no point to the organization or idea in a colonist fleet heading to another galaxy searching for a new home.

Cerberus existed because of available infrastructure and the financial backing of a billionaire running the outfit. The colony fleet arriving in the Helius Cluster has no infrastructure nor a financial backer.  There is no chance in hell that Cerberus or the idea will be found in Andromeda.

Remember, Bio itself said it's a new story with new characters devoid from the events in the MW galaxy.

The direction they took the story in ME2 marks the moment I stopped playing the games primarily for the story, and Cerberus is central to that direction.

Everything about Cerberus post ME1 (where they're just a sidequest boogieman) is friggin' stupid. TIM is friggin' stupid. It's all friggin' stupid.

With Walthers still in charge there's a pretty good chance they'll show up in some capacity. Most likely there will be some evil human group that we discover a related to Cerberus. This will be presented a shocking reveal late in the game, though anybody who has played the trilogy will have recognized the similitaries in the first encounter.

First of all, God please no. I would like to actually see some 'alien' elements in this franchise, not more human centric nonsense on top of an already human centric setting.

Second of all, why do we even need Cerberus or a Cerberus-like group in the first place?

The games clearly point to humanity being the best species to grace the Milky Way in the history of ever. We get fast tracked for Council/Spectre status after only 30 years, and we are directly competing with (and winning) against other established alien species in every area such as economics (Volus) and science (Salarians). Hell, we are even genetically superior to every other alien in the galaxy in the words of Modin Solus, a salarian scientist.

Its like if all those crazy theories about innate genetic superiority of a given race; like the whole ubersmench thing with the Germans in WW2; is actually found out to be true. If something like that was in fact reality, why would we need a Neo-Nazi spouting off about the rights of the master race, when clearly science itself was agreeing that yes this particular race is in fact superior to any and all others?

Why are you even here?

On Earth? Or the Andromeda forum? Because the Andromeda forum isn't the ME2 forum. Nor do you get to dictate who posts here.

Cerberus themselves never claimed to be pro-human

o rly? So all of TIM's talk of "human dominance," "Cerberus IS humanity," etc didn't mean anything?

All this Cerberus hate from low-level xenophile deviants.

Andromeda must be purged.

Okay those were things he said, but tell me when has the illusive man ever stated Cerberus was a Pro-human organization. The lore express them as a human-survivalist paramilitary group. You know why? Because they were getting ready for the reaper invasion which TIM knew about before anyone else. His goal was the survival of the human race. Again he started this organization in a time were humans weren't trusted by the other races, so ofcourse he had his biases. TIM has never said Cerberus was a pro-human organization, if they were he wouldn't have aliens in his employ, but he does. The illusive man only expressed his opinions. His opinions were never Cerberus goals. Obviously you never read the evolution comics.

Actually there was important lore in the evolution comics, like how the first contact war started and the events that taken place during that time. Not to mention glimpses of Paliven and the first place EAware introduced a female turian. But it seems lore don't mean much in these forums these days

I wouldn't be surprised given the advancements they made in technology, like Normandy's tantalus drive core.
