CerberTech will be all the hype after The Reaper Wars.

While other human organizations were focused on galactic politics, Cerberus pushed the boundaries of science for space exploration tech.

Hardly.

The info we got clearly states our mission is to find a new home for humanity.

Humans would fight for that idea especially Cerberus.

In ME2, Cerberus was eager to go on an exploration.  Given the organization's history why wouldn't they be eager to head into Andromeda.

The info is from a leaked marketing survey, not a story synopsis. There would be no point in marketing the colonization efforts of other races to new customers who have no attachment to those other races. Why would a new customer give half a crap about Krogans, Turians, Salarians, etc making settlements? Just showing the aliens would have more impact on new customers than delving into their colonies in a fictional solar system.

According to what I have read throughout reddit and such, might not be true, other species will go with the humans to colonize as well, perhaps with their own arks.

That depends on the ending chosen.

Since it sounds like the Ark leaves before the end of ME3... guess what "fan favorite" faction would be around to infiltrate it.

I don't mind at all.

Since this game takes place hundreds of years in the future it's a good plot device to see how the Cerberus agent copes with the fact that Cerberus is likely gone.

Or will he assume they're still around because there's no contact with the MWG

So, without going into the potential spoilers of the leak, I'll be very interested to see how Cerberus fits into the story if they appear.

We're leaving during a period when Cerberus was processing humans en masse into indoctrinated agents, with the suggestion that this had been done to loyal Cerberus agents as well.  Not only that, but the Illusive Man was fully indoctrinated during this period, which means that if he knew about the Ark Initiative, the Reapers almost certainly did as well.  Perhaps this is part of the plot; there were three Ark Ships shown in the promotional video, but what if only one escaped the Milky Way?

I suppose another way Cerberus could live on is as an idea.  It's not hard to imagine humans united under Cerberus' idea of "Humanity First At Any Cost," led by a charismatic leader - a politician associated with the Terra Firma party or one of Cerberus' wealthy backers who bought his/her way onboard the ship.

Imagine having a Reaper indoctrinated AZZhole aboard our ship

We'd have to kill him before he creates something that indoctrinates

So if there is no Reaper signal to control this person, are they even still indoctrinated?
