Sorry if I caused any post traumatic elbow disorder with that title.

 

I just dropped in to a gold/haz-reactor/reapers match with new-ish players TGI/ N7 Hurricane, & BW, Geth Juggy/ Collector rifle, & a QMS/ Adas. I'm getting M-9 tempest points with the GI, everything going smoothly, I trapped each of them in the core a few times, but the TGI ate stims each time, & the Juggy was too tanky.

 

There was no space magic in the game, then Wave 8 happened, we killed everything like it was going out of style, then at the end of it Marauders just kept spawning, they just kept spawning man. I saw the TGI get ganked by like 8 marauders, 4 of them were elbowing him as well. It was a massacre.

 

Is there a bug where the wave never ends? If there is, then I've never encountered that bug before.

Multi cookie mob spawn = modded game. Nothing new. If the host wants, he can spawn a horde of banshees on you.

I've played enough ME3MP to know its a modded game or not. 2 Pugs were talking as well, they thought it was a wave with only marauders in it, & one of them was host.

Id rather have that than have 'em standing on top of each other's heads!

Has to be one of the funniest spawn bug I've came across.

(And they were all balancing on a poor little swarmer)....

In this case, it's hard to say. I've seen a player on a jug, who's not the host, dropped into a match and started waltzing like a ferrari around the map. I don't know what's up with that. Bug? No idea. There's no appreciative speed difference for the rest of us.

In this case, it's hard to say. I've seen a player on a jug, who's not the host, dropped into a match and started waltzing like a ferrari around the map. I don't know what's up with that. Bug? No idea. There's no appreciative speed difference for the rest of us.

I know somethings can be changed clientside, I remember a pug dropping in one of my games with a 21 burst fire argus.

 

TGI dropped out like a minute after it started,  the other two talking new-ish pug were clueless. The way marauders were spawning in were normal, there was always the standard number of 8 enemies as well.

 

Maybe Mgamerz, &/or cyonan knows.

There have been incidents with never ending waves on Reactor Hazard.

But as far as I remember it was always after a failed objective wave like a glitched escort drone.

I had something like that happen on Jade, everyone finally just left because the host wouldn't leave.

Oh man, there *needs* to be an Mgamerz Mixin ™ for a Neverending Marauders Mode (patent pending).

On topic: in theory the game could spawn unlimited Marauders (up to the max of 8 enemies active at one time) if you have depleted the wave budget just so. For example, for Reapers Gold, Waves 6, 8, 9, and 10 have unlimited Marauders possible.

This is a known issue where the wave points are so low it cant spawn another Marauder but the points aren't depleted so it spawns another anyways but doesn't deplete the wave budget.

It's also an issue with older modmaker mods were published before like July 2015 on a specific wave.

Fun fact about Dragoons: on Cerberus Gold Waves 3 and 6, they are limited to... 3 and 6 respectively. So if your Gold Solo gives you Devices, and the 'Goons keep knocking you off just when you're about to complete one, go around killing 'Goons until they stop spawning.

 

Unfortunately the 4 (!) Phantoms on Cerberus Gold Wave 10 are Unlimited. Making Gold Wave 10 Devices a royal pain in the butt on most maps.
