I think BioWare should introduce romance/sex cards that Ryder earns for banging different Andromeda species. Perhaps add a minigame like Bingo.

I like the collectable sex cards idea but its a bit last century. We need something the kids can relate to.

Like Pokemon.

Hey, remember that Pokemon mobile app that tried to convince us to go trekking around town for pokemon?

Remember that talk about the MEA presentation on Sunday being along the lines of the one for Fallout 4?

Remember how in the Fallout 4 conference they introduced a Fallout mobile game?

Remember that this thread was supposed to be about how MEA will handle romance, and how you said they should look to Pokemon?

Do you see where I'm going with this?

The same way all Bioware games do.

Side Quest.

Love.

Bang.

Not always in that order.

Yes I do let's keep try tothis discussion about how this game is gonna handle romance with examples of how other games have handled it and how things can be learn from it from the other games and what we think can be done to add or remove from the experience of romance in this game this not adefinitive rules for this topic but I think that might be the best way to do it
But this is a role for me at least on this topic will be no swearing bad language racist comments sexist comments are installed in other people's religion

As we all know some rpg gams do you romance as part of character development the big question is how will this new mass effort Game will handle it we seen Games like the witcher 3 witch hunt and of course Dragon age Origins dragon age 2 and Dragon age Inquisition handle it differently and of course let's not forget the previous mass effect games so how will romance be done in this new game will see that partial nudity from mass effect 1 or a scene like in mass effect 2 with bras and knickers on the characters during The romantic scene or will it be witcher 3 or like Dragon age Inquisition answer me What I'm hoping if they do it in a way that does not make it feel forced more mature not too raunchy but in a way that said yes this is sex in a mature way and not like porno or anything like that but in a way that shows love between two characters

Paragon for sensual, Renegade for raunchy

Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords, it had almost no romance. I would prefer if they focused (way) more on the important stuff.

Sith lords wasnt actually done though

I agree, the fact we get a new romance thread every second day asking the exact same question that got asked two days ago in a different thread with the same name, which in some cases is even still active on the front page is total BS.

Its like you read my mind.

No worries. It happens sometimes. Next time though, use the forum search function. My first thread was asking why a character was considered fanservice and I didn't use the search function. Cue a lot of posters going, "Didn't you see the tons of other threads on Cullen?" When folks learned I was actually brand new, they calmed down. :)

It's all good. Beats another troll trying to start a romance thread just to get a rise out of people. As far as the topic goes, I think they'll probably take some cues from the DA:I team in that department. Different sexualites and at least in ME:A we won't have to worry about anything being race-gated. :P

If you're asking about nudity or more graphic sex scenes as well, be wary. That's a sticky topic for a lot of people, since some romances in DA:I have mild nudity. For example, there is a scene where Cassandra was topless. I saw my dwarf's boobs too. The only downside (for me) is that there is some great conversations in there and not everyone wants to see pixelated boobs. A few folks that are for or against nudity are really, really vocal about it. So proceed with caution. :)

No need to be sorry. I'm just being over the top. :)

It's nothing personal dude it literally happens every day around here and there's nothing else to talk about. So we've started talking about the threads themselves. It won't be long till you have something though so smile friend, find a female to warm up with, drink Ryncol.

I agree about nudity in video games should be handled cautiously and in a way I think this is why I made this thread is to discuss how will this game handle things like that in the romantic part of the game just to get that discussion going on what is the appropriate way to handle it I'm not trying to discuss on who should we romance but To discuss how will other games that have incorporated raiment into there are games will have an impact in the development of mass effect Andromeda because we've seen so many games handle it differently and it really got me intrigued on how this game will handle it because we've seen how bioware have done romantic scenes in the past so I'm really looking forward to seeing how they gonna handle the romantic scenes in this game

I'm hoping Mass Effect: Andromeda will handle romances like Dragon Age: Inquisition did.

To start the romance with Cullen, you literally selected an option on the dialogue wheel that said "Start a romance with Cullen."

...

How is that a natural unfolding of a relationship integrated with NPC interaction? Not to mention two of them were in-and-out bang sessions, and Cassandra's romance was painfully cliche, where you literally fetched flowers and crap to woo her.

I found the romances in Dragon Age 2 and the Mass Effect trilogy in general to be far better.

How do you find the difference between the romance from Dragon age Inquisition /Dragon age 2 /Mass effect trilogy that makes it from each other
But I think each of those games has handle it differently and have learnt from experience of integrating their romance into the game from previous games and how will the romantic scenes from the previous games effect mass effect Andromeda romance plot

That's because it's outdated! Pokemon, now that's what the cool kids like.

This has been talked about with tongue firmly in cheek. I don't think most folks want Poke Sex Balls to capture the LIs in order to "Bang 'Em All." It's just minor burnout on some of these threads for the moment. Once Sunday hits, then they were be new things to whine about obsess over discuss at that point.

I know and my first thought was they clearly don't remember the 1990s http://www.cracked.c...o-games_p2.html

This stuff is obviously nsfw but keep an eye out for miss nude world 96.

There was also I penthouse game IIRC.

This is why arcades used to be so cool kids 20c porn games.

I thought Star Wars Knights of the old Republic 2 was made by another gaming developer company and not by bioware that's why the romance in that game was different than the first knights the old Republic
I keep thinking how many games have set up these romantic scenes and then have they done in a way that doesn't make cheesy Or to pornographic but done in the way of maturity that's what I'm hoping for in this new mass effect game I would also like to see more diverse in characters that can be romanced a new ways of doing it

Yes it was done by Obsidian.
