That's right.
Not a bad idea.Hope they remove omni-bow, it simply makes no sense.
Omni-blades make slightly more sense, but personally I would have preferred a more lower-tech version of a melee weapon.
For example, a combat knife with a small electrified eezo core inside that generates a warp field around the blade to be able to penetrate armor,
seems to me more sensible than waving around a big triangle of essentially plasma, that needs to be created from omni-gel specifically for every swipe and is
suspended via space magic.
Because it did happen, just like Dragon Age 2.Then if they didn't happen, why are we talking about them?

DA2 was fine. Inquistion on the other hand... I still don't know if that game or The Force Awakens was a bigger disappointment.
Inquisition is the biggest one, at least Awakens doesn't need Origin to run.DA2 was fine. Inquistion on the other hand... I still don't know if that game or The Force Awakens was a bigger disappointment.
That stuff was there since the very beggining and is cool. While we're at it let's just get rid of biotics, starships, mass relays, etc. Everything that makes the game fun.
I don't know about remove, but they should be redesigned to not look so silly. Not so much like a "holographic switchblade"
What I really want is a souped up biotic punch that can be used more often, perhaps even to the point where it could largely replace a Vanguard's shotgun if you specced into it.
In any case, I've no problem with the omni-blade--but then, I'm one of those, 'Hey, space swords could be preeeeetttty cool, everybody' people, so I suppose I wouldn't. That said, I'd want the space swords to better-resemble what an actual monomolecular blade - a decently hard SF* concept, by the way, certainly as compared to most of the other stuff in ME - would look like, rather than the tech katanas we got in ME3.
...
*So hard SF, in fact, that we can actually create them today--the issue lies in maintaining them at that level of sharpness for a useful length of time. Larry Niven's solution - suspending the 'blade', or in this case filament, within a stasis field to keep it straight and sharp - could be adapted to the Mass Effect universe's technology relatively easily.
Actually, come to think of it, the existing lore behind the omni-blade - flash forged at monomolecular thickness, held in a mass effect field, and then recycled - could work just as well for a monomolecular 'omni-sword'. It'd certainly be another instance of 'rule of cool', but lore-wise, it'd actually be less dubious than a whole bunch of other far less cool stuff in the ME-verse.
I'm OK with the omni-blade, though it'd be nice if we could actually use an equipped bayonet.

I don't mind the omniblade, it just didn't really fit from a gameplay perspective and should have cut from the final game. It was tacked on BS.
I don't see a difference. Omni blades are the $#¡t.That stuff was there since the very beggining and is cool.
I wouldn't mind no biotics though, always wanted a tech-based Vanguard.
You say that yet so is the omni tool and biotics. They should be cut from the final game?I don't mind the omniblade, it just didn't really fit from a gameplay perspective and should have cut from the final game. It was tacked on BS.
they're not holo blades. Check the wiki.I do have to say I like the Batarian Soldier's omni-fist (perfect for a tech Vanguard), the Engineer's torch and the Infiltraror's electrified omni-tool. But no holo-blades.
what's aesthetically pleasing to you zombie solo? There were those bayonet attachments in ME3, but I never used them. They were oversized and looked a little silly. If bayonets return I hope they're more aesthetically pleasing, as well as being more useful than they were in ME3.
redesigned? Like what?I don't know about remove, but they should be redesigned to not look so silly. Not so much like a "holographic switchblade"
