Got a couple questions in reguard to the part on the "disabled" Collector Ship when you get to either learn a new weapon proficiency, or if you have the right proficiency, get a new weapon for a specific class.

EG: Revenant MG for AR skill, Claymore(Krogan) Shotgun for SG skill, and supposedly the Widow Anti Material Rifle for SR skill.

So the first qestion: If you want a better gun are you pretty much screwed when it comes to the other classes? Example, say for whatever reason you don't want to learn a bonus skill and are either an Adept, Sentinel, or Engineer, is there a third weapon for either SMGs or HPs? If not I vote for DLC to add some.

Second Question: If you choose to learn a new weapon proficiency does it transfer to NG+ or do you have to learn it again at that same point?

Third Question in relation to the Second Question: If it does transfer over can it be stacked? EG: you learn AR, do NG+ get to that spot then learn SR. Or does it override the skill you learned in the prior playthrough?

Fourth Question sorta relating to the Second and Third Question: Are the NEW weapons class specific? EG, on Vanguard can get a Claymore, only a Infiltrator can get a Widow, and only a Soldier can get a Revenant. I know Christina said the Revenant was soldier specific but I'm guessing that was because the Soldier starts out with the AR skill and therefor would get the option in playthrough one to get it on the collector ship.

Another reason I wonder about the new weapons is because the Soldier start out with all three proficiencies. So even if you were unable to either keep your bonus proficency in NG+ or not be able to stack it or what not, you still keep all the weapons you aquired. So in theory if a Soldier can get all three of those weapons in 3 playthroughs a Soldier would have all 3. The LMG, the Flakk Cannon and the Tank Buster.

how are these weapons anyway compared to the dlc's: collector AR, incisor SR, cerberus evicisirator SG (not released yet). I know the MG is not as accurate as the AR, wat about the rest?

The Claymore Shotgun is extremely powerful, one shot and you have to eject a thermal clip, it is the only shotgun that works well on all defense types including armor. It is the gun that Grunt can use if you research it.

The MG can fire more rounds per clip and is supposed to have the highest damage, but is offset by low accuracy.

Not sure about the Widow Anti Material Rifle as I have not used it or seen any gameplay footage of a player using it but supposedly you can get it at that point in the game. It is the gun that Legion can use if you research it. It resembles what I would consider to be the 23rd century version of a 50 cal sniper rifle as such most likely has even higher damage than the first sniper you get.

You can in fact get the Widow Anti-Material Rifle as an Infiltrator, and let me tell you it is a beast. Coming out of cloak with heavy disruptor ammo let's me one-shot enemies with full health and shields, and with the armor piercing upgrade they get toasted pretty well too.

I picked up the Widow as a soldier, and even on insanity, it will 1 shot most of the cannon fodder enemies, if you use Adrenaline burst and head shot them. The tougher enemies(e.g. possesed Harbingers) can take 2 to 3 shots, and it only holds, i think 12 or 13 ammo, (14 with the 10% ammo armor).

Furthermore, I just passed the point where I should have gotten the weapon training again, and did NOT recieve the option to change or get a new weapon, so apparently you only get this once.
