Hey my Bioware fan friends!
Myself and Biofan took some time to REALLY speculate on what we will see this week on EA Play.
What do you think? Gameplay? Gonna see the Squad? Tell me Tell me!
Love these kinds of videos. To bad I'm at work with a bad signal on my phone.
I let the resident ME expert take me to town!
Why not post this in the thread about EA Play instead of shamelessly self-promoting?

Mostly because it's an example of main stream media talking about Mass Effect and interviewing an active member of your Bioware community - I thought you'd like to celebrate this...

Shamelessly self promoting is generally how you get more viewers on YouTube.
Plus, it's not like it's interrupting a bunch of well thought out intellectual debates going on in all the other threads around here.

Ehhh, it's a YouTube channel. And not a mainstream one. Unless you mean "mainstream" "media."

So why not just post threads with nothing but dongs? Dong threads for days. Why not?
Forget about the jackals. It's all good. Since we're talking about supporting Mass Effect info and YouTube check out Minius GC. He's awesome when it comes to Mass Effect Information.Mostly because it's an example of main stream media talking about Mass Effect and interviewing an active member of your Bioware community - I thought you'd like to celebrate this...

Because we're not the pornomancer.
Although this thread is still technically about Mass Effect.

That is the Youtube channel for our nationally syndication radio show where I have to convince old people to let me talk about Video Games- thanks again for your support!
LOVE ME!
There are so many ill-tempered people in this section, it's like you need to walk on eggshells half the time.
Thanks for the video.
VGS and BF's content is much better that usual dreck this forum debates in recent months, in all honesty... ![]()
Oh, the story discussion makes me think how the plot has parallels to Dragon Age 2, that's good, yes?
Hey my Bioware fan friends!
Just wanted to say hello back Bioware fan
.
It's good to see even the most hardcore Bioware fan is still willing to criticize DAI's lackluster sidequests. It gives me hope that the devs will at least attempt to address such shortcomings.

I think a significant part of that lackluster was BioWare's poor procedural animation (as opposed to crafted animations).
Bethesda can do this (they hardly have any crafted animations) but at the time of DAI, BioWare had not pulled that one off...
(but best to not divert the thread)

Well I can't say I know the difference, but I definitely noticed the animations were...less than I was used to seeing in Bioware games.
The only thing I would say to BioFan, place yourself in the middle of the camera. ![]()
Good interview. I'm thinking that no matter how hard they try, they can't get away with not mentioning the previous games at all. Well, I'll take that back. If they do a clean break, yes. But BioWare isn't known for clean breaks. So, yes, they will mention the previous games where they have to, not mention them where they don't. And I'm thinking that's gonna be a in a lotta places. So, it might appear like a clean break, but it's actually not.
25 mins long, not worth the listen. Can some one bullet point the predictions?
It's 25 minutes of... speculation. No real thought provoking information, no new information. Just two people who love the series discussing what they'd like to happen. I watched it because BioFan seems to be a cool dude, and has a lot of love for BioWare.

I'm sure someone probably could.
Looking at it critiquely, the value of this video is - as others have said - more about the enthusiasm than any real revelations. I'd broadly agree with BioFan's crtique of Hinterland quests, but I don't share his conviction that game playthrough must be shown; I think there's plenty of time before we need to see that - for instance, I could personally wait until N7 Day - but I also think that parts of gameplay with appear in a trailer. I totally agree that we'll see squadmates will appear but without full introductions, but at the same time disagree that rainbows would make good V/O actors.
As for the point about how Bioware deal with the past, the N7 trailer shows they may be able to navigate those murky waters.
Also, VGS is Blackwall, right? I'm not the only one who sees this?
