Edit:  I uninstalled the toolset and sqlexpress 2014 and then reinstalled the toolset and let it install 2005.  i can live with that. lol

I followed the directions on this forum post:

http://forum.bioware...on-age-toolset/

And the ones on this page (which is linked in the above post):

https://jerbecca.wor...l-express-2008/

And I keep getting this error stuff...

1> USE master;
2> GO
Changed database context to 'master'.
1> CREATE DATABASE bw_dragonage_content
2> ON PRIMARY
3> ( NAME = bw_dragonage_content, FILENAME = 'C:\Program Files\DAODB\Data\bw_dragonage_content.mdf')
4> LOG ON
5> ( NAME = bw_dragonage_content_log, FILENAME = 'C:\Program Files\DAODB\Data\bw_dragonage_content.ldf');
6> GO
Msg 5123, Level 16, State 1, Server DESKTOP-JI9F4U1\SQLEXPRESS, Line 1

Running it as an admin? Turned down UAC settings? Windows tends to be very pissy about Program Files write privileges.

I now have the database created. Configured the toolset to use it and it told me all was well. Now, when I try to open it, it doesn't do anything. The window comes up asking me if i want to allow the toolset to make changes to my hard drive (kinda dumb imo...wouldn't have clicked on it if i didn't) and the pointer gets the circle thingie going like it's opening it, but nothing ever happens. no error message or anything. it's like it just goes away.

oh and the reason it wasn't creating it was because the folder was read only. when i changed that, it created it without any problems.
