It's the most powerfull ship in citadel space. if u saved the coucil, u saved the ship. so it's suppose to still exist. That kinda of ship is a serious strategic asset in the fight against the reapers (unless u load it with the council, and let get pummeled). has anyone who saved council, saw the ascension?

I remember hearing it was on some kind of tour to thank the humans that saved it or something like that, I could be wrong though.

There is a news broadcast about the Destiny Ascension ending its 20 system victory tour after the defeat of the geth and Sovereign.

It's on a tour, yea. I also think I actually saw it once when I was docking in the Citadel. But yes, it is very much alive and well, and on a tour to human colonies, ending at Earth, to thank the Alliance who valiantly gave their lives to save it. Only to slander Sheperd's name but still...

correction, they deny the existence of Sovereign. They cover it up by saying that Sheperd was mentally unstable and was having delusions of grandeur by trying to save the galaxy from some unknown force.
Basically, they are being dicks.

Thats not true. They don't deny the existence of Sovereign, they simply lie and say it was a Geth construct. Millions of people saw it so they couldnt just out and out deny it ever existed. But they sure as hell weren't gonna tell the truth about it being a reaper.

I thought they didn't even refer to it by Soverign, just called it a Geth ship.

They knew Sovereign was Saren's flagship, I'm guessing they just assumed (correctly) that the name was his creation.
