It's worked on previous play throughs. THis time I have both Improved Atmosphere and Dragon Age Redesigned mods added in. Now I talk to Levi Dryden in camp. I select the dialog choice that's supposed to get the DLC to load. But then after rebooting DA, it still doesn't appear on the world map. Any ideas how to correct this?
Help! Soldiers' Peek DLC won't load!

Update....I just went to Sulcher's Pass and got the control rod, but Honnleath did not appear on world map. In the settings, it's listing all my DLC's as "unauthorized." Note, I have the ultimate edition, so all the DLC's came with Origins. What gives? A mod issue?

I tried the first thread since it dealt with the "unauthorized" issue. It said to check that I was signed in. I was. Then it said to download a patch. I did that and now Origins won't start. I followed the rest of the thread and deleted folders it said to delete. Still won't work. Arghh!!! Do I now have to reinstall the whole thing and lose the current run through?

You can (and should) back up your saves and not lose any progress... I have saves from some of my earliest playthroughs (when I still used the DVD version of the game on a different computer) that load fine with my current Origin install.
Not sure why the 1.05 patch would prevent the game from loading... unauthorized DLC with the UE was a known issue, and that patch specifically addressed it. *confused*

After troubleshooting failed, I had to do a re-install. But it did allow me to save my progress, so no harm done. Now all the DLC's are working just fine. I did re-install both improved atmosphere and DA Redesigned. Sadly, those two seem to lead to more crashes, but I suppose that's the price for mods that try to stretch the abilities of an old game engine to its very limits.
As to the 1.05 patch, if I had installed it previously, would installing it again screw things up? Oh well...
Many thanks for your technical guidance, TSM. Just curious, are you a programmer or IT person in real life?

From loooong experience I can tell you that re-installing the 1.05 patch will not harm anything, even if already installed. ![]()

No, I don't have a tech background at all... I'm a visual arts person. Glad you got things sorted; happy playing!
