A small collection of plant placeables...

They're static, but perhaps useful for some purposes. The pack is about 3/4 finished.
I will be really happy to have these RJS, thanks for your time.

I see cabbage and pumpkin in there. Will the pack happen to also include some maize that isn't somehow growing its ears without their husks as the stock NWN2 maize is?
Nice addition.

In the Forgotten Realms, ama(i)zingly maize ears forgot their husks, well may be
.
I want .... a shrubbery.
Thanks Guys.

There's also a turnip plant, a grape vine, and a tintable coconut. I hadn't planned on a maize model, but that would be easy enough to fix. For me, the small weeds will probably be the most useful (for cities).
Could probably do with a greenhouse tile or two for the Standard Interior...

Here's what it looks like with a husk texture applied:

Not very exciting, *shrug*
Not what I'd hoped, since the model is also extremely low-polygonal, but never mind that if you had no plans to include one.

I thought about it, but you need to zoom in fairly close to even notice them and see that they are box shaped. It's suitable for background use at any rate.
Thanks Guys.

Is the coconut wieldable? If not it should be put in the "handy vfx" pack, because that would be a great solution for mounts:

I noticed it virtually immediately on my first playthrough, and commented on it in my blog.

Comparing apples to oranges. I was referring to the new model in which the husks are only a slightly different shade of green, whereas the version you noticed had a more distinctive texture and brown-yellow hue for the maize. Meh, it hardly matters.
When I said the model is extremely low-polygonal, I was referring to the entirety of the model, not just the ears/husks.

Yes, I understood.
It would be awesome if there were a way to convert these veggies into speedtree trees. probably not possible though.
They are still awesome though.
True. I tried experimenting with the SpeedTree editor from DA:O, but I couldn't get the tool to work in any way useful. Maybe I'll give it a try it in Windows 7. Alas, there's no manual either.
Thank you for your work. These are cool, and will give some color to the endless rows of corn in my rural village!
