I know i made already a topic for them months ago but i'm obsessed with them.

 

What i wanted to ask is what kind of technique they are using to call spirits?

They don't use magic,they don't force them,it seem to be like a bound between friends but how could that  be?

 

Pure spirits(non-demons) are rarely seen and they don't like people,they only follow simple virtues so in order for a SW to contact them the person need to be a saint?

A person that possess those virtues and at the same time does not possess the rational thinking limitation of spirits and is able to not

twist them.

 

Also given the bound they should be able to even absorb part of their knowledge about the fade ala Solas.

It's likely ritualistic of some sort. There are rituals for blood mages to communicate with demons, so there's likely similar rituals written to communicate with spirits. There are spirits out there like Cole and Justice who would want to communicate with mortals, the bigger issue might be finding worthy mortals who would not abuse their trust.

 

I don't think a person would have to be a saint to communicate with them, but they would have a bit more than average like the Origins Warden. The only people we see with Spirit Warrior abilities are Wardens or spirits like Justice, so it might be limited to those subgroups.

The SW are lore breaking they contact spirits without being mages and in their final form they even cross the veil like dreamers....

SW are apparently able to call spirits at any time
