Hope for:

--A pet/animal of some sort. I'd even settle for a plant.

--Lots of sarcastic/joke speech options.

--That I find a romance I enjoy. (I haven't been disappointed yet.)

--Drell.

--Interesting, unique and dynamic characters.

--A story that is compelling and mysterious.

--That I can be a Biotic God and sweep through Andromeda like a great biotic wind.

Don't want:

--For the above to not happen. ;D

The I-X weapon specific upgrades system in ME3 was an improvement imo because the generic upgrades in ME2 felt pretty token and nonsensical, whereas the me3 system's impact on gameplay was noticeably more pronounced and it really fleshed out the economy.

Yes it's a little strange that every gun has exactly 10 linear upgrades and it would be nice to see some visible signs of evolution and some degree of choice. Let the user prioritise what they want to upgrade from rate of fire to accuracy, etc.

Weapon upgrades should only be available at weapon merchants imo unless you built a weapon bench upgrade for your ship and gather the necessary raw materials for each gun upgrade like FO4. Buying from merchants instead means you pay for the added convenience of not having to source raw materials.

Well, in ME1 and ME3, Shepard is part of the Alliance military, so that would put a limit with the number of hair styles and forms of attire one can wear.

I don't care about that.

Shepard was a Specter so he can do whatever he wants anyway. If the Council has something negative to say about his hairstyle or clothes then *disconnect*

^YES too all your points, specially the jokes.

One of my biggest frustrations in Fallout4 was how poorly made was the majority of the sarcastic options. Some of the options were OK, a few were fantastic, but a great number of them were... plainly stupid. Stupid like the protagonist is silly.

I really love sarcastic Hawke and I wouldn't mind if they put a sarcastic or ironic or jokery option time to time in the wheel.

Indeed, that is more true in ME2, as he now works for Cerberus, which is far more lenient.

Oh yes, that reminds me: If Drell do make a comeback, PLEASE give them back their reptilian double eye-lids. They had them in ME2, and ME3, as always, took that away.

I loved sarcastic Hawke and I'd love it if they added similar responses since Shep never, really, had any. FO4 was inconsistent with their "sarcastic" options, but some of them are still pretty amusing. It's just hard to tell how those choices will fit the context of the conversation and in what way they'll be delivered -- but that's pretty much the standard in the whole game. Those times when I pick something and hear it and then I'm just like "wut?"

Huh... I don't think I actually ever noticed that in ME3? Probably because we don't spend a lot of time with the only 2 drell characters in the game.

In ME2, you can clearly see double-lids on Thane's eyes whenever he blinks. Then in ME3, he blinks with a single lid, just like a human.

Way to remove one little thing that made Drell unique, Bioware.

That further reminds me, no giving me a pet I can't take with me.

Oh, what I would have given to bring Urz aboard my ship.
He could have helped us find the Scale Itch.

During ME3, SCREW that mech-dog, I wanted my Urz.
As I have romanced Jack, he and Eezo would have made friends.

Urz just won all 3 matches for me. Things are looking good.

Next racial minority chick should be available for romance. Depriving us males of Kasumi was a crying shame. I actually wouldn't mind if the next token black character is a chick who can romanced.

@Guanxii, no, as I've said earlier in this forum, no, the I-X level up system is WAY TOO dumbed down.

Also, in real life, military weapons aren't limited to just two whopping attachments. Like ME2, you can attach several attachments.

When it came to weapon upgrades, ME2 set the best example. All ME2 lacked was ACOG scopes.
