Better developed characters, different/new/varied classes

 

I always thought that characters like Dr Chakwas were underused and had greater potential although this may have been constrained by the arrival of Mordin Solus (medical/scientific overlap).  It was interesting to have a completely loyal and trustworthy crewmember and friend from a different generation that the protagonist could interact with.  There were the reminiscing scenes interactions that indicated a deeper relationship between the two, almost McCoy-esque in some respects.

 

I would like to see something different and varied.  An older character would be refreshing and I mean somebody who actually looks old.  An older character who isn't a lazy stereotype cliche e.g. bigot, xenophobe or old fool (more substantial than Anderson).    Kreia from Kotor 2 was a rich interesting character and how about taking a little bit of creative inspiration from HK-47.  Maybe throw in a space Gandalf with a little touch of Kenobi for good measure who comes from an ancient civilization on one of the Andromeda worlds.  Just a few ideas off the top of my head.

Hope it has:

 

1. PC M&KB and PC optimized menus on the PC build.

2. Graphical optimization for the PC build (seriously, we have the superior hardware, allow us to take advantage of it).

3. Quality over quantity when it comes to companions.

4. Multiple, non-linear paths through missions.

5. Hubs that feel alive (Novigrad rather than Val Royeaux, please).

 

I won't be holding my breath though. I'm already hugely unimpressed with the age group of the protagonist, I have ever decreasing faith in this game the closer we get to release.

Should the face of Mars continue to be used as a "faraway planet"?

We all know of the planet with the "Mass Accelerator scar" is in fact a planet that has Mars' face on it.

Right now, I am replaying ME1, and apparently Ploba, the planet with the missing survey team, has two moons that both look like Mars.

I figure that Bioware may as well continue using Mars' face.
