Space Genlock Alphas!
We'll finally discover the origin of the darkspawn: they came from space.
Not really. And we've kind of been through this many times - there's no point 'shipping' the setting to Andromeda to avoid ME3 ending choices if they're gonna set the Ark launch after the endings lol. May as well stay in Milky Way
True that but they still might do it. They might have changed the "how" and "where" they started after they thought up of the whole andromeda thing
I smell salt and butt hurt coming from him. I'm not worried. It's just EA's new "thing" to show bts.
It sounds like an incredibly dickish thing to say, and it does make him sound bitter.
Frankly, I think there's a whole lot of stressing over a game we've barely seen anything of.
Nice to see a couple of non-humanoid aliens....
That jungle planet looks beautiful.
I'm not fond of the Tempest: it looks too wide and too long but it may be smaller in the actual game. .
So guys sorry for this random question but should I be worried that there might not be any Quarians in this game? They are my favourite species and all that. :/

Hmm, that second picture makes me wonder if we'll be setting up camps on the planets we explore.

Yeah and it's not necessarily an indication of something being amiss. I'm holding off on worrying until I see sufficent reason to and I'm not seeing it here.
I'm baffled at how uninspired the art is for the setting. A desert, a kind of moon, a jungle. Things I've already seen in ME1, 2, 3 and DA.
So you have a big new toy to play with (a new galaxy), and you can't show anything remotely original in this teaser (or trailer, in the long run I don't know anymore)? "Trees with red leaves", that's all you can show to give us the taste for exploration? A "Brute" look-a-like, that's all you found for combat?
ME is a series about "species", the unknown, with an emphasis on dialogs, story. And all they show in the trailer was "space vehicles" and very boring "landscapes".
I don't know what the purpose of the trailer was, but in any case my excitement for the game is pretty thin right now.
And I'm still really afraid the game will rely on me finding "resources" like "rocks", "plants", "relics" in "open world areas". That was bearable 2 years ago.
you forget an icy planet
nevermind

But that doesn't suddenly make the problem of ME3 endings go away. If they changed their minds about how/where after agreeing on Andromeda and turned it into post-ME3 Ark launch, then they conciously going with canon/4th ending where syhthesis didn't happen (no green stuff), Krogans/Quarians etc always live and all. All problems they wanted to avoid. Why would they do that lol?
Off topic but...there is a like quota in these forums? What the actual f-------.

Oh great, a charging creature that looks like a Brute.
It's not like I fought billions of charging Brutes in my 1000 hours in ME3 MP.
sigh
It's too late.
We already know it's her now.
Sera's taint has spread to other franchises.
"taint" ? ![]()

Well, there aren't really that many Quarians in the Mass Effect universe to begin with, so they might not show up.
But they're popular with the fans, which probably matters more. And they arguably to have very relevant expertise for an ark type project.
