Right, which is why going to Andromeda to escape the Reapers is the only plot which even remotely sounds plausible.

And even then, not really since there are perfectly good galaxies a lot closer than Andromeda.

By the time ME3 came around Mass Effect was almost nothing like ME1. Your argument in nonsense.

And no you learn to calendar. Its june right now. the sixth month of the year. Summer. The winter goes from december to february, spring starts in march which is the third month of the year so spring 2017 is nearly 9 months away. Spring 2017 is also April and May is also spring. SInce May 2017 is the fifth month of the year there is the possibility of MEA releasing early May which is 11 months away.

I guess you also need to Learn2Read. The release window isn't Spring 2017, it's financial Q4 2016, when ends in March 2017.
 

And if you haven't noticed EA has a lot of other stuff on EA like Battlefield which makes more money for them so it makes sense for them to focus on stuff that is easily bankable on E3 and then have the ME dedicated stuff on the day they dedicate to ME stuff. Anyway I am off to sleep I need to wake up for work tomorrow.

EA has no time limit at their own event. They could have given MEA 3 hours if they wanted to. If you're not even going to try then why bother responding?

I have a really bad feeling that this game is going to suck. This "trailer" didn't do anything but make me worry.
The monsters looked derpy and like they belong in some other franchise. Looking down the gaping maw of some giant, cartoonish energy-beast? That's like Lost Planet or Gears of War, not Mass Effect.
The facial animations looked goofy.
The human-centric narrative has me rolling my eyes into the æther.
The lack of any solid story or gameplay moments tells me everything is behind schedule, and the "developer diary" style just confirms that as far as I'm concerned. Why waste so much time showing developers and stock footage instead of content when the game is only 7 to 9 months away?

Why would they have to make her look less Asari? Asari breeding is clearly defined, and this ain't how it works.

Nah, humans and asari have had offspring hundreds of times before, the offspring are physiologically Asari in every sense. Asari can mate with any sapient species and the off spring will be physiologically Asari but might have some psychological traits from the "father" (e.g increased aggression if the father was a krogan). I'd recommend looking it up on the ME wiki if you want to learn more

It might just be the angle of his head, but it doesn't look like your usual krogan head-plate to me. Could be he's just looking at the ground, but before the explosion when he's looking ahead his face still doesn't look like a usual krogan.

No there isn't. Not unless there's another delay. And we're so far past pre-alpha at this point. That was a weak excuse when people kept using it to explain why Inquisition was so ugly compared to the "in-engine" trailers and I really don't want to see that excuse being thrown around for MEA.

To be fair, the odd facial expressions may be intentional. The character may be someone you're supposed to view as somewhat off, sort of like Sera.

I'm pretty sure that's just what it is and people just don't like her looks or her expressions for whatever reason.

*I doubt any people here can begin to guess how ridiculously low my expectations for this game have been. So I'm not trying to be a Bioware apologist by defending the trailer. I'm defending it because it genuinely looks more promising than I thought it would be. Go figure.

Wait. I thought the in-engine trailers looked pretty lackluster compared to the actual game? Am I the only one who thinks that? And I strongly dislike DAI.

i think based on that assumed intention, the animation is spot-on.

 

even outside of that assumption the quick transitions between expressions shows attention to detail. i felt it looked good.

One could be a Pistol and the other a SMG. And instead of both being on the same hip they are on different ones so you can see both.
