Yeah? Have you seen anything remotely like Normandy during the mass fleet scenes (ME1 Citadel, ME3 opening, ME3 fleets arriving)?

Also, you can just recall your ship models collection. ;)

The only other Alliance ship designs we see are Cruisers and Dreadnoughts, which have quite different roles.  But they'd be silly ships to support the sort of character we play in Mass Effect games.

Not a single frigate in the two significant mass fleet actions, hmm?  :D

They couldn't paint it in nothing but N7 colors? Ha, oh well, I like it anyway.

But I have the strongest deja vu, I must have seen it (or something very much like it) somewhere, but I can't remember where.

This kind of confirms a lot of leak stuff

True that.

Nope, Bioware are stingy with their models.  I don't think we saw more than one Turian design either.

lore wise they are named after big battles from history, so I was hoping for the Waterloo or Marathon

Who said it was Human-designed?

Could have been a council ship?

I somehow expected a ship not so similar as the Normandy, but it's alright.

I like the name thought, "Tempest", very Shakespearean.

I love the ship name as well. For obvious reasons.

Indeed. The reference works on a number of different levels, too, particularly when you consider that Shakespeare's Tempest inspired Forbidden Planet, which is the first ever cinematic instance of humanity travelling to distant stars aboard a ship of explicitly human design...

They should really lose those fins on the front of the ship, they look awful and they make no sense.

Guess it's official. From the EA Play teaser:

I'm okay with this!

I think it's a beautiful ship. I'll be proud to serve on her.

Oh, the Tempest is that long and sleek ship...

I couldn't help but think of Austin Powers, after reading this roflol

We see this ship travel in the atmosphere of a planet in the trailer. Fins like that have been used in a number of aircraft over the years so it probably does have some use and purpose.

I see a lot of bull$#¡t about the ship. And a lot of complaining.

It's not just one trailer. It is several trailers, leaks, and discussions that have formed this view of mine.
What more would have to be shown for you to allow me to have this opinion?

You are SOOOO complex.

It's looks so flat though like it's a bloody manta ray!

Also too similar to the sr2 for my tastes but meh, it'll do.

I'm really liking this new ship, especially the fact it can land on planets.

I know, but I like classy French names. "Burgundy" or "Provence" would have been fun.

It needs to be a battle, so it'd need to be something like "Verdun" or "Crécy".

I would have loved something more rugged, industrial-looking. This ship looks so elegant and squeaky clean it looks like it was made by someone who designs sport sneakers.

It better have a Thanix canon.

That, or a straight up reaper canon, but in blue.
