Nah she just looks like ****, but thats par the course for Asari. The only decent looking Asari was Samara and thats only because she was modeled after a real(and attractive) woman. What a stupid race, worst ASPECT of the ME franchise.

None of the LIs have been confirmed. They didn't handle the LI reveals for DA:I very well, so my guess is that we won't know until fall or later.

Asari are actually my second favorite alien race after Turians.
I'm just not liking the artistic direction that shot from the trailer is suggesting.

In ME1 and 2 she had the obvious imperfections, (a weird partially squinted eye) that alone made her less jaw dropping gorgeous. In ME3 she got that fixed and became even more babelicious which I guess caused people no end of butthurt.

"Addition" to the franchise suggests that asari weren't in it from the beginning. Which they were. They were technically the first of the modern races to be present in the ME setting, having discovered the Citadel before anyone else.
There was no where to go but down from Liara's flawless profile in ME3.

I don't really like the look of everyone in ME1. They are too pale, almost sickly. ME3 brought some nice contrast; in particular Shepard and Liara look better.

ME1 had very washed out colors in general. It made everything look really bland, which is strange as Jade Empire, released two years before, had more vibrant colors. I'm guessing they were going for a moody vibe and missed the mark.

Prior to ME2 releasing people were assuming Samara was a LI just because she was Asari, attractive, and wore an outfit unzipped to the navel. Look how that turned out.
