That which you're seeing as "fuller faces" could just be baby fat.  I don't think she's over 50 yo.

I'm actually a big fan of Morinth and Aria.

 

I felt Aria lacked the bite to her bark in both games so I had a bit of trouble really believing her fearsome reputation and image. While I dislike it, I can see why Shepard would be an exception since Shepard is allowed to get away with practically everything even physical assault on a civilian reporter caught on film no less. I do think they could have demonstrated her bite on other characters, however.

 

I don't think I've ever spared Morinth because I've yet to justify it with the characterization of the Shepards I've played. I hear she does not have much content of her own even in comparison to some of the other characters with sparse content.

I... have complicated feelings about Sera's character that are difficult to explain properly and really should be started in this thread that has nothing to do with her. I'll settle on saying that I'm hoping this asari will be silly but still different from Sera.

 

That and I was never fond of pranks like the ones Sera pulled. They seemed to be done more for her amusement than because she believes it'll be as amusing to the person being pranked. She dosen't seem to care how the person being pranked will feel about it. Basically, I'm hoping that this will not be the case with the asari if she's the prankster type and that she'll prank people who don't mind being pranked and actually like the pranks.

Well, I never got that same feeling about Sera. She was more of the hyperactive friend that had a fun idea that you liked.

 

The asari I am more in the line of: Where is she and what has she done NOW? And of course when you helped her, she would be "I had everything under control"

Now that I think about it, I could see her as a character who loses some of her childish edge over the course of the story as a result of the things the squad experiences.

 

It could be a very interesting thing to explore how a green squad might develop individually and as a whole after experiencing things like losses, setbacks and general sights of combat. You can do a lot of interesting things with a squad that is not experienced.

If it is any consolation, I am usually terrible with determining ages as well and in fairness, it's terribly difficult to tell the age of an asari.

 

Yeah, her skin's less taut/smooth and wrinkles more evident than I've ever seen on an Asari. Sure, this is probably a side effect of them trying to make her look as naturalistic as possible (although I'm a little disappointed with the tendency towards a human look). The hue of her brows and 'dullness'? in her irises do her no favours for me.

 

With rumours afloat about a mostly youthful, untested squad, and my prior reputation with opinions in this field- it's more than likely I'm way off the mark.

We actually don't know if she would be the new Liara, but if she is, i kinda like her "5 secs of screen time".

I was just referring to ME2. The LI content in the Citadel DLC was just there for all the people who complained about their expectations not being met in ME2.

Right, I didn't say it had to happen in the first game she appears in. But do I expect that we will eventually? Yes, because of track record.

I would be incredibly pleased if BW went with interesting character design over "every lady in the game must meet the dudebro standard of generic hotness". One of my favorite things about Inquisition was that so many of the female characters had visible flaws and realistic quirks that made them visually distinctive instead of twenty flavors of Playboy playmate.

There is Blasto, although its a parody and might be closer to Dirty Harry.

Please no though. Sera doesn't make sense to be in the inner circle, she is a wild card and too hyperactive. I just don't get why any actual leader would trust her in the inner circle.

Haha, you're right. I made the wrong choice with Bull and it bit me.

But I just mean as far as leading an organization goes. She is a funny character and she proves to be trustworthy, but she is still immature. I hope it doesn't come out as hate speech, I just mean that I genuinely don't think such an organization would jeep her in their inner circle of they didn't know her personally long before taking her in.
