I finally found the English word I wanted to use to describe the new Asari. In Malay the word is tembam and that's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw her:- "Eh, kenapa muka dia tembam ?".

 

In English, tembam = pudgy and truly, the new Asari's face looks pudgy. Why ? Is she fat ? Is she an Asari that had Shrek as her father ? Or just for no reason ?

Sure, most waifus and husbandos should look hot as it's their primary purpouse in terms of pixel romance, but whats the big deal having 1 Asari look just average (nothing omg super ugly about her) rather than a supermodel? People are taking the 'blue space babes' trope too literally, they don't all have to be jawdropping...

One because Koei and two because every female looks same using only 3 different face formula(one for mature, two for "normal" and three for cute) with only different hairstyle in here.(Nyotengu being exception). And lastly three, for just being fanservice, I want something more of game then just boobs physics and attractive barbie faces.

Well duh, compromises are for real life. I expect my fantasy escapism to be worth escaping into.

 

I don't mind other tastes being serviced either. I just want a two+ traditionally beautiful ladies with likable personalities (naive, demure, heroic, commanding ... I don't care, just characters worthy of being part of the protagonists party in fiction written to entertain). The only people who should be disappointed are the people who can only enjoy preaching to and pissing off straight white guys.

Please no though. Sera doesn't make sense to be in the inner circle, she is a wild card and too hyperactive. I just don't get why any actual leader would trust her in the inner circle.

The party is the also in the inner circle by the game's definition, that's why you can take them and not inquisition soldier #24 into any mission-even when/if secret stuff is going to be revealed (like how you take your advisors and 3 companions to the ball and find the assassins and queens and dukes and trying to be vague here)

eh, I think that is more because, you know, they are the elite soldiers, not some grunt that is at best able to handle a templar recruit.

 

But that she is in the "inner circle", if we call it that, is not more strange than say, a dwarf that is not only a pathological liar and friend with the guy/girl that is blamed for a war but that ALSO talks to his weapon.

i have no problem with how that asari looks except for her damn eyebrows. Not every asari is drop dead gorgeous--just look at Aethyta. She only got good looking when you drank a lot at the bar.

Samara and Benezia were matriarchs as well; they were definitely good looking, so take that for what you will. I sitll think that not all asari are going to be the epitome of beauty, and I'm glad for it.

Yeah, it's not like we met other Matriarch-type of asari who look a lot better then Aethyta, like Samara, or even Benezia.
An asari can be attractive or not regardless of her age.
