I already like her if nothing else to spite the anti-asari contingent on the bsn.

eh, I think that is more because, you know, they are the elite soldiers, not some grunt that is at best able to handle a templar recruit.

But that she is in the "inner circle", if we call it that, is not more strange than say, a dwarf that is not only a pathological liar and friend with the guy/girl that is blamed for a war but that ALSO talks to his weapon.

The game quests are split into category's and your party member's quests are under the "inner circle" category, if you really need direct confirmation. But I kinda thought that taking them on top secret missions was enough, and yes-a couple of them are only in there because of their power (Vivienne and Bull)

She's attractive.

I think people get caught up in the idea that all female video game characters have to look like Maxim models.

This Asari is attractive in a very down to Earth way.

No, I mean, just stay with me here.   This could be why she does look so androgynous.  Some people are saying she looks like a guy, some people saying she looks like a woman. 

 

This would also solve a lot of the problem for them as well.  What do parents do when separated by war, especially if her asari parent is a commando like we heard about in ME3?   This would also solve the maturing process (at least in terms of her body coming into full development) of the asari. 

 

Hmmm, the more and more I think about it, the more and more I'm mixed.

I hate her face. I think its just the expression in the short clip though. Probably feel differently with more exposure to the character.

The clip with this character seems similar in some ways to the X2 tent scene with Mystique and Logan. That smirk and the drawn knife make it seem like It could be a character messing around with someones mind. That the character isn't an Asari was my first impression which was perhaps a result of noticing Pris eye makeup before taking anything else into consideration.

Just the romance-able ones. You'll be playing an intergalactic bad ass who will most likely look like a model by default too ... from the pov of verisimilitude and entertainment it makes sense to give people like me some eye candy.

 

Only if Bioware wants to make educational software to teach me to not judge people by conventional standards of beauty should they repeat what they did in DA:I. In my case it will fail though, because I won't buy it yet again.

As soon as i saw her i instantly thought Pris from Bladerunner, here's hoping she doesn't share Pris's nature as well as her make up ideas!.

 

 Am I just blind am I delusional? Because her facial features seriously remind me of a white man in at least his late twenties.

 Please someone help me understand.

Um.. She literally looks like a 30 year old white man. 

 

I understand wanting more women who aren't conventionally attractive but ya know. Unconventionally attractive women still look like women. Are some people just blind or just feigning ignorance. 

 

I mean Sera wasn't the best looking(I loved sera so much thought) but she still straight up looked female. The same with Aveline she had strong features but still looked female. 

 

Its like Bioware actually went out of there way to make her look more androgenous/outright male looking. 

 

I mean this Asari looks like she could be a teenagers biological father. I mean biological father in the human sense not the asari sense. 

 

OK rant over I kind of hate myself for caring this much but I needed to get this off my chest. 

 

Edit: Also why does she have eyebrows?

She looks like a kid. Who said she'd be a romance option? Looks to me like a Mission Vao type for MEA.

 

This is exactly what I thought when I first saw her. She looks like a teenager 13-15 years old (so what 40-50 for an asari?) so like Mission from Knights of the Old Republic. And I love how everyone has jumped to the conclusion that she is a romance option.

 

Also this thread has made me hate the human race even more than I already did with their limited definition of "beautiful".

Right; but there is baggage. Red Jenny doesn't do much for the inquisition, and Sera is kind of a loose cannon.
