I mean seriously! We don't care to see people at their desks working on this game! This has got to be the game for which I've seen more people at their workstations working on it than actually seeing anything of the game itself. That's all we've gotten since the reveal trailer, what, 3 years ago now? Or is it two?

Ok, you don't want to show more right now. I can accept that. But STOP padding your empty hands with that BTS stuff. It's just sad, it's just filler, and it's frankly pathetic. Don't have anything to show? Then don't come and wait until you do to show up at events!

Sorry, even if I can understand you were waiting for more gameplay (me too), I actually really like to see the "behind the scene" stuff. It's nice to see the dev working with images of the game on their computers.

I think we will have new infos during EA Plays.

Either this game is so bad it's heading straight to hell (and they don't have idea how to promote it) or it's just so good that they want us to go into it blind, without knowing anything so we can experience it as well as possible. GOD I HOPE IT'S THE LATTER

If Bio is unwilling to show more, that's their prerogative.  I suspect the game's meshes / textures are incomplete at this time. Ergo, the trailer. Am I disappointed? Yes, but it was expected.

My question is why you got so upset at the behind the scenes snippets. The devs deserve recognition, especially the artists who rarely get mentioned. This event is one place they can get some, if not from you, then from the company managers. That, btw, is what good companies do.

because it seems to me, and probably others, that these kinds of trailers are not designed to give the devs credit, they are placeholders that can be put out when there's a dearth of real information to put out.

People stop your whining If you watch this trailer close enough you will realize that combines all the types of trailer it part behind the scenes part cinematic part gameplay also this game is still at least 6 or 7 months at least. Also feel like most gameplay footage comes out 3 to 4 months ahead of time at least for more story oriented games

I like behind the scenes stuff, but I agree with you on one thing - this is not a trailer for the game. At best, it's a behind the scenes sneak-peak.

This thread was made with the wrong tone... because we all appreciate the devs and do respect their hard work and, my god, it is rocket science to most of us peasants, but I have to say I agree with the point. It's bad taste to rely on BTS stuff for all your promos... maybe once is fine, but for an EAPlay stage trailer? We expect a polished teaser, like a movie trailer, or gameplay trailer. BTS stuff ... I like it too, but not for official promos. Maybe on the side in their youtube channel, or website blog.

The nerd rage is strong on this thread.

lol.

We will get info when we get it. You don't NEED to know anything about this game now. You don't need to have any information to know if you should buy it yet. Your life will continue regardless of you having info or not. People need to get a grip, it is high time Bioware SHUTS THE FRAK UP about their games until it is feature locked and past alpha build stages. Bethesda learned this quickly in the information age, people are stupid they don't understand what 'subject to change' or 'in development' means so if things change after they are told they will idiotically accuse the developer of lying to them. So the only INTELLIGENT way to deal with toddlers is to only tell them things then you are 100% sure as in it is already in the game and locked in.

I mean look at the idiocy of the death threats No man's sky's Sean Murry got for delaying the game 6 weeks and that is just a delay not even a change in a feature. The internet has proven time and time again that it is not mature enough to have adult conversations about things.  Ergo we only need to know about the game when it is days from launch so we can make informed choices as to buy or not to buy.

It's honestly sad that the Alpha leak of Andromeda has shown more gameplay footage than any of the official released information.

Its not about the content of the "trailer".

Its about where did they show it.

This stuff today belongs to the "random" ME:A dev blog "progress on game" video you would expect to get when you pop into their website now and then at morning while sippin' your coffee.

This trailer today is just something that twisted the overall "big time" aspect of EA Play.

Overall I feel kinda 'meh, but of course my belief in the end product remains hopeful as before.

Please BioWare - next time however keep it like this:

"Less yapping on tweets about how 'beautiful' this game is and more actual content shown"...

Maybe the more intelligent thing would be to NOT announce the game until it's past the Alpha stage? That way, you don't spend years leading your fanbase on and disappointing them in the process. That too, Bethesda has learned. They announce the game only months before they are released and quickly release TONS of info. Who's fault is it people are disappointed getting ANOTHER teaser 3 years after the game was announced?

In all honesty you guys need to calm down. I'm disappointed with no gameplay too, but there is nearly a year before the game comes out.

Some people just like to complain. Movies do this all the time and funny enough, you never hear people moaning for them to show X amount of the film.

Really? You'll have to name a few. 'Cause I don't know of any movies that start releasing teaser trailers 4 years before the movie's release and continue releasing teasers up until just a few months before the movie is released.

So fans are too stupid to be trusted with info about the game this early?

It's possible, yeah.

Had you read the entire post before exploding, I was referring to the fact that some people would complain even if a gameplay video had been shown. EA  cant win whatever it does.
