I liked it. I'm really curious about the asari, I noticed she had actual eyebrows. I'm wondering if she's some sort of cross breed, or if it's been so long that the asari evolved to take more physical traits from their "father."

I thought about that as well. Could be that the Protheans sent some Asari to Andromeda while they were grooming them as a failsafe if the next cycle could not defeat the reapers.

What would have been cool would have been to have in asari with hair. One who somehow managed to get a human pregnant, rather than the other way around, and so you have hair instead of tentacles.

I was always under the impression that the asari had eyebrows, just that the graphics/animation people were cutting corners. Honestly, I expected a handwave along the lines of "they pluck them", or a technical explanation like the graphics crew couldn't make it look good before.

 

It makes sense in evolutionary terms for an upright walking, mostly hairless species to develop something like eyebrows. Turians and batarians have ridged brows, quarians have eyebrows and batarians might have them too (it's hard to tell due to their skin colours), salarians probably have some transparent layer over their eyes.

 

Asari have eyelashes, after all.
