I see a lot of you that choose to destroy destroy what ?

The Reapers. Many people feel that destroy was the "real" ending since it was the only one in which the enemy, we had been fighting since ME 1, were actually defeated. It's also the only ending that Shepard can potentially live through.

Okay thank you  ;)

Synthesis. It was in the middle so it was obviously the objectively correct choice.

Everything after the beam run was a hallucination. Shepard bled out in the rubble. The battle was lost. The survivors retreated and started work on the ark.

I meant if you could set your canon via import/Keep (if they ever made any)/in-game questions ala TW3/KOTOR 2.

None.

Why do you need an ending, when it seems obvious that the ship departed to Andromeda prior to the ending?

What difference would it make? What impact would it cause on the game?

Live on, dude.

If I could choose my own canon, MEHEM

One for everyone? "The Reapers atacked, Shepard saved us all. Now let us never speak of it again"

So if I was king of bioware and could canonize an ending, it would be a partially retconned version of Destroy most likely.  Wouldn't necessarily bother with moving to Andromeda either.  Post war reconstruction could end up making the galaxy drastically different than it was in ME1-ME3 times anyway, and there is plenty of the MWG left to explore.

I don't really care, I was just curious of what people thought.

Control, Shepard kinda remains alive, the reapers properly **** off, honestly the best ending imo.

Those Reapers deserve to properly **** off, I agree.

Only my Shepard should punish Mankind, not them.

I feel that the devs made the right move by dodging the endings. However, my head canon is Destroy. As Sir Froggie put it, I didn't play 3 games as Shep to have her either become a Techno Goddess or become a martyr for the sake of very poorly explained space magic with Synthesis. The Starbrat seemed a little too eager and to the Abyss with that buggy half-AI.

The whole thing was a mess anyhow. <shrug>

Blowing up Reapers is fun. Still, I find it hard to see how being enslaved by Shepard doesn't count as "defeat."

Synthesize would be fun.

Imagine our Andromeda heroes returning back to their homelands and wondering why the f everyone has that green

Enslaved ? He's protecting the galaxy in a different form.

Control is a stretch

I can't see Shep being arrogant and dumb enough to think he can control the masters of brainwashing based off a 5 minute convo with the voice of brainwashers

When it comes to gains humans nature is to go for the most sure thing.  Destroy is the most likely option

None of them. None of the ME3 endings make the first bit of sense.

None of them. None of the ME3 endings make the first bit of sense.

Plus, they really don't matter anymore, at least where ME:A is concerned.

and there is plenty of the MWG left to explore.

Well, there could one possible reason (besides mere curiosity) to explore other galaxies rather than MWG. Making contact with other advanced civilizations (by advanced talking maybe something like k > 2-civilizations in the Kardashev scale).  If something like those existed in MWG they would have been already detected. The same is somewhat true with other galaxies, but with them due ridiculously long distances MWGers are looking far into the past.

It's questionable is there anything to gain for those left in MWG though, it being most likely one-way trip, which will end in the practical isolation from MWG. That is, even if it is possible do within the known ME lore. There's always space magic, but atm not sure about the question itself.  I don't remember / know details about FTL traveling in the lore to say much.

Destroy. When you wake up on the SR-1, and tell Chakwas about your dreams, your first reaction is "We have to stop them. We have to destroy them before they destroy us."

Anderson wants you to Destroy.

The Illusive Man wants to Control - but he is gone, indoctrinated.

Saren wants to Synthesize - his original intention to live alongside the Reapers when the Harvest is complete. But he, too, can not resist them...

The two who represent Control and Synthesis are firmly under Reapers' control. Anderson and Shepard, however, are not. Thus Destroy is the only true option.

And Refuse should die in a furnace.
