I'm GLAD that MEA had a minimal E3 showing yet again.

Let's be honest, Bioware has a track record with showing too much of their games prior to the release. They have been known of showing off light plot spoilers in their marketing going all the way back to E3 2007 where the Virmire/Wrex ordeal was played out during Mass Effect 1 demonstrations.

Had Bioware stuck to their normal approaches, we would, by now know already:

1) How the game begins

2) Who the main villain is

3) A good number of our party members, their names, their backgrounds, and a hint of who we can romance

4) A few locations that are critical to the plot

5) Core background on the protagonist and how he/she came to their current position.

6) A critical plot point in the game that would have been better experienced had it not been shown off by Bioware (Like the Virmire/Wrexham situation)

So yeah, I am glad that Bioware is doing what they are doing.

Wellll, they're still kinda doing this but less so. 1) We still see how the beginning is ("We made it", says femRyder). 2) The Khet-Kats might still be the main villain, or at least the villain's little pet army. 3) We have approximately half of the crew so far (Cora, Drak[?] and then the goofy asari chick). 4) Well, we've only got the ARK for certain but not sure how much more at this point. 5) There has been a brief mention to what it takes to be a pathfinder. 6) Nyet. This point doesn't count because we won't know until later how pivotal any of the situations are.

So far, it has been minimal but graphics so there's that. Though i am honest to see the ARK/Tempest confusion cleared and we get a look at the cute female PC.

Those games weren't formally announced until a few months ago. ME:A was announced three years ago.

Actually it was announced eleven months ago.  Sure we knew they were working on something set in the ME universe but the official reveal as to what that specific something was came at last years E3.

Please show me the promo material for Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 from January. EA didn't reveal those games until last months and showed us first gameplay yesterday. That's only four months before release. We should expect the same with ME:A.

They had a lot of negative press at the end of ME3.

They should be working a lot harder to sell this game.
