Chill, Zap. Chill. Genophage is over, remember?

Its Zip.

Zap died in a freak accident on Tuchanka.

The "master races" of MWG:

Asari

Salarians

Turians

Krogan

Quarians

This is assuming there isn't any problem having normal and dextro provisions.

None. We are starting over and a clean slate is better. Plus I can't really see why humans would even bother to invite any other races...I mean for the most part the council has shown its uselessness anyways. Asari **** block all the flipping time...why invite the biggest **** blocks to a whole new galaxy so they can further **** block? If I had to pick one it would probably be turian for the advanced war tactics, but I really can't see why humans would invite anyone at all.

Salarian: Useless, insufficient lifespan.

Drell: Useless, insufficient numbers.

They'd be the best at reconnaissance roles.

I imagine that Salarian we saw on the ship will be our designated infiltrator.

Am I the only one that hoped we get mostly new races or at least new gender/species combinations in MEA?

Male Krogran.

Female Asari (of course, no complaints).

Male Salarian (based on wardrobe) [Rumored]

Human female [Rumored]

Out of like what? Six or seven squadmates? It sounds pretty bland when you look at all the dozens of alien species that exist and the inevitable new ones that are being made. I'd keep any alien race on the tempest, but I dont want a repeat Normandy. I can just go back and play the trilogy if I wanted to pal with those species.

We should have at least 2 new alien race squaddies.

I understand why it'd make sense for the bulk of our squad to consist of MWG races.  It'd be foolish to build most of our squad once we're in the unknown.

The trailers show a Krogan alongside us at every turn lol.

They can survive the harshest of conditions [Rachni Wars] and fighting for creds is apart of their culture.

This post is asking us what races we'd keep, not what's actually in the game. That doesn't explain why we would bring them. Humans are capable of dealing with **** all on their own. We don't actually *need* anyone. Who cares about harsh climates? There are 1 trillion stars in Andromeda we don't actually need to land on any real harsh climates. Given that there were plenty of habitable planets in the Milk way they would easily be 10x that in Andromeda. it really just makes no sense other than familiarity to the player. Most races were such pains in the asses for the reaper ****...I just don't see why bothering at all.

Until **** hits the fan and Quarian suit gets punctured

Turians, Krogans, and Drell are superior for field ops.

Even the turians praise the asari commando's as the finest warriors. My favourite war asset entry for example is the Serrice Guard...

"The Serrice Guard set out to stop Blood Pack mercenaries attempting to enslave asari colonies in the Terminus Systems. After a ship-to-ship fight, the commandos and mercs crash-landed. With no means to contact Thessia, the surviving asari continued to engage the grounded Blood Pack, whittling down the frustrated slavers with traps, ambushes, and nighttime offensives. After nine days and more than 100 casualties, the Blood Pack surrendered. And the mercenaries were astonished to learn they had only been battling five asari commandos. Although the Guard downplayed their heroics, they became instant celebrities upon their return to Thessia."

I felt like it really captured the lethality and true strength of the asari; they don't have the brute force and durability of some of the other races, therefore they have to use guerilla warfare to win. And since we're probably outnumbered in the Andromeda galaxy...

Humans are easily the most versatile race and can do it all.  But that doesn't make us the best at everything.

- Krogan are physically tougher and better at holding the line

- Asari are the masters at biotics

etc

I'll admit Asari mastery of biotics didn't come to mind when I made this thread.

That being said I see no reason for us to have a Quarian squadmate.  They're better suited as shuttle pilots
