Maybe Asari off springs do have tiny differences based on who their "father" is. I mean all the Asari we met so far who had a Krogan parent had brash voices. So maybe human and Asari make babies with eyebrows.  :P

Or you know, all of them have eyebrows in MEA.

You are, but they aren't going to canonically make any character Shepard's child.

It's possible in your Shepard's story. My Shepard didn't meld with Liara once.

Jack's, Lawson's and Traynor's babies would have babies if they knew they had a half-sister who was asari. There would be a sis-down!

Just goes to show how important it is that they get this right. The "Asari squad mate" is right up there with "Make sure the ending doesn't suck."

Oh, I completely disagree.

It doesn't look like an Asari and its not just her face. Her crest is different when she turns her head.

Her crest looks the same to me when I tried to see it and compare it to the crest of other asari. Can you elaborate on what you mean?

I'm genuinely questioning if it is an actual Asari. Or something we'll have to have explained to us more thoroughly.

She has the crest of an asari and her skin is shades of the colors commonly exhibited by the asari.  She looks like an asari to me.

I believe we've even seen asari with her facial shape in the trilogy; https://staticdelive...-1417919993.jpg

The only thing I can see that would be odd, besies the eyebrows if they turn out to be real, would be the seeming lack of scale-like texture on her skin as asari's non-crest skin supposedly has that. I'm saying supposedly because I believe that the racial characteristic was either inconsistent throughout the trilogy or disappeared over time.

Yes, but twice in a row now you've expressed "mind-blown" appreciation for common fan theories that have never involved much logic to begin with, so you're going to receive some criticism for that.

So your argument here is that he kinda sort almost sorta looks like what an Asari should look like.

The deluded dreams of BSNers continue.

I prefer simple explanations, like:

"We couldn't design a face in Frostbyte without facial hair so Asari have eyebrows now."

Yes i know that but the fact that she was implied heavily throughout the trilogy as the main LI then it would make sense that she is offspring assuming that Liara survived the final battle... i know people disagree that Liara was the main character but there is no denying that that was implied

No, my argument is that she looks like an asari based on visual comparisons made between her and other asari and if you keep on with that tone, mister, then I'm going to stop imagining you with a posh voice, a top hat and a martini glass.

This is the best explanation I have heard and it would be fun to see all the anger and confusion that will flow through BSN when people try to be angry but can't use "lore" as a reason.

My apologies I have been a little too keen to be naughty lately.

I guess no one remembers the changes Elves went through on each DA game.

They ended up looking best in DA:I's frostbyte engine.

While I'm generally against whining about things before games are released, on this, I have to agree. The eyebrows are an awful, awful design choice.

The eyebrows look ugly. And so does the raccoon smudge. Actually everything on that face of that Asari looks wrong and off and uncanny.

She can, and likely will, wash her face at some point. Those eyebrows have to go, though. They make no sense. Asari don't have eyebrows. Or are we also giving other alien species eyebrows now, as well?

Turians with eyebrows? Salarians with eyebrows? Krogan with eyebrows? Batarians with quadruple eyebrows? They all make the same amount of sense. Asari are not human, and they do not have eyebrows. I'm sure it was a mistake.

As an animation demo, which is what she truly was, she looked awesome. Sadly, I doubt the game will actually look that impressive, as a total visual package. The protagonist didn't look nearly that good. Animation is only one of many components that combine to make great visuals. At least we have reason to suspect the animations will be quality. Hopefully, the overall visuals will be striking. Mass Effect has always had strong aesthetics, even as their visuals became dated.

All of of that is probably intentional. I got the impression that the character is an oddball, similar to Sera. They probably wouldn't have put those facial expressions in a trailer unless they were deliberately designed to make the character seem off in some way.

Ugh! Let's hope that intention is not carried through to execution. I don't want any Sera in my Mass Effect.

I'm really sceptical they would rewrite one of their most polarizing characters. Not that Bioware doesn't recycle their character tropes mind you.

What if the air on Milky Way planets just made it impossible for Asari to grow eyebrows?!?
