Seriously though doesn't anyone know how to Google anything? It's right on the wiki. Liara definitively doesn't have eyebrows, and imo the new asari doesn't either.

I heard from an inside source that asari will have between zero and ten eyebrows, make of that what you will.

I don't see the problem with volus getting goatees. They already have a casing on their helmets for their gnarly Fu Manchu mustaches.

Seriously people Asari have eyebrows and they don't have eyebrows we have seen both in the lore. It isn't unheard of for people to have genetic traits that differ from each other. Some people have the ability to make their tongues pointy some people can't, some people can roll their tongues others can't. Is it really so fraking impossible for some asari to have eyebrows while others don't?
Even if you are right (which I don't concede) who the frak cares? Klingons changed three times in star trek people got over it time for you to get a life and DEAL. WITH. IT.
The appearance of aliens in Sci-fi changing as our technology to represent them improves is not unheard of and not 'lore' breaking and a sign of pending doom. It is people improving upon what came before, stop acting like it is the end of the fraking world. Get some perspective.

No, Asari do not have hair, those that appear to do so like Liara draw them on, and I don't think genetic variance covers the emergence of things like hair. Unless they are gonna have humans with scales, salarians with feathers, and krogan with manes, in which case I'll just say "wuh"
And "other sci fi series are inconsistent" isn't a good defense. The lack of internal consistency here doesn't seem to me to imply that they are adding in new genetic features for the races, more likely they forgot that asari don't have hair and didn't really care if it was brought up

Oh god... You're right.. I forgot about that... Are we single handedly destroying Andromeda right now?
Hell, while we're at it- why don't we give Bioware some idea's for Andromeda's Ending? Like I don't know... It could have different colors?
(please no one kill me)

So this topic is popping up again. ![]()
Am I the only one who thinks it's funny to have a "Thread" about undesired asari eyebrows?
Because, you know, Threading is a thing...
That people sometimes do... to their eyebrows... to remove hair...
anyone?
ah. fine.

Maybe she's not a Asari with eyebrows, but a human with blue skin and tentacles hair.
Wow, how didn't I think of that.

I don't care. One others asari had eyebrows and that was Liara. They're doing it again. There's got to be a reason for it.
Liara did not have eyebrows; those were facial markings.

Well... asari do have eyelashes which is hair so asari do have hair. Eyebrows are also theorized to serve a similar purpose to eyelashes namely protecting the eyes.
That said, asari have not had hair eyebrows previously to my knowledge so if this asari do have hair eyebrows then that would be a change. I do, however, reserve judgement since Liara has had scenes wherein her "eyebrows" appeared to be hair eyebrows so it may be the same with this asari.

QQ over this shows you have no perspective. it isn't uncommon in Sci-Fi to do this, YOU HAVE get a grip. Give it up no species that is warm blooded could have eye sockets like the asari and not have eyebrows. Warm blooded creatures sweat to cool off eyebrows keep that sweat out of your eyes. BOO HOO they changed the asari. DEAL. WITH. IT. It is their IP they can do WTF they want with it. Dont like it? DON'T BUY THE GAME. There problem solved. You have maintained your integrity we get the game and you can fume at how yet another sci fi IP changed the appearance of a race when the technology improved. oh the humanity.
It is childish BS complaining like this that keep the developers out of the BSN and rightly it should. Gamers are so self entitled they take it as an insult when the owners of an IP change things it is their FRAKING IP they have every right to do what ever the f@ck they want with it.

Yeah, but Liaras eyebrows were drawn on because she had a creepy human fetish.

And you think that sweat is a constant among warm-blooded creatures... why?

And you think that sweat is a constant among warm-blooded creatures... why?
This is true, a number of mammals don't sweat at all. And others have poorly developed or unevenly distributed sweat glands and use other means to help cool themselves.
