Of all things that could go wrong with this game. Asari with eye brows is around my lowest.
I wish there were more threads about the three arks and less threads about Asari eyebrows

I actually get why some people find this slightly alarming. I'd really prefer that the developers seem familiar with the franchise lore, even the little things.
Bending the rules is better if you know what they are in the first place.
ME Trilogy's Asari have eyelashes.. that's hair...
This is what I have been saying!!!
I don't think all asari had eyelashes, though? Unless I'm mistaken, I seem to remember seeing some asari and thinking it was odd that they didn't have eyelashes. If this is memory/perception fail on my part or if they weren't "important" enough for such a fine detail, I couldn't say.
I wonder if each species has its own ark. Cramming them all onto a single ship sounds like a bad idea. Krogan spacing Salarians, Batarian street preachers, Vorcha pooping on the floor, ect...I wish there were more threads about the three arks and less threads about Asari eyebrows

Road trip from hell!
There are at least three Ark ships, so I doubt they'll put krogans near the salarians.
It is a minor detail though, and it is not like it will change the lore or how we experience Mass Effect. It is in fact, just hair. I don't really care that much about minor changes like that. If they feel like it adds something more to the facial animations and help the characters express in conversations i am fine with it. That is how i see it anyhow.

I would agree, and I like that people notice, I'm just not convinced it's ignorance or laziness on their part. Not yet. Not until I know more.

I honestly don't know either. I just know Liara does in ME3. I noticed it from time to time in other games. I honestly think the reality is they just didn't think about it. That doesn't bother me its a pretty insignificant detail to me, but apparently I'm in the minority. People all over talking about how things don't make sense all I can say is "this is what you are going to hang your hat on? None of it makes sense!". Devs are people and they are going to make mistakes. I just don't want them to be too glaring. This, this is something I can live with.

Don't know if each species has it's own ark but I can definitely see the need to keep some species separated from each other (Krogan and Salarians for example). Can't wait to find out what is going on with the arks. That is what I am interested in.

They're going to spend the whole trip asleep anyway. It will be like history's worst hangover ![]()

Most of the population would still live in the Arks after they'll reach Andromeda, until they find suitable planets. So it's better to keep certain species separate
.
I am wondering if they reverse engineered the prothean stasis pods.

I agree. Changes in games happen all the time for many reasons. I noticed eyebrows but it's not a big deal to me either. What I find more saddening is how much judgement can be derived from a few minutes of a teaser trailer. We haven't even played the game yet... ![]()

Weren't there cryosleep pods in the back of the Normandy, or am I remembering that wrong?
They were.

The ones on the Normandy were probably meant for short term use. Javik's managed to work for 50,000 years. The prothean pods on Ilos lasted for centuries before Vigil started running out of juice. Now I am guessing this trip is going to take somewhere between 200-300 years. Going to need to build something that lasts for centuries.

All of them have eyelashes.
Although even if they don't have hairy eyebrows, a lot of them have patterns similar to eyebrows. Maybe just like humans makeup trand, its a fashion statement. Maybe the MEA's Asari painted hers to look like human, even her skin is too smooth. Who knows.
guess what guys maybe Asari actually remove their hair of the eyebrows as a social standard, and replace it with tattoos, but maybe this one give a f...k about this standards

Well that was very thorough.
I was talking more about "background/nameless/red shirt" asari, but yeah. I wasn't sure.
Honestly, once this was pointed out, it looks more off everytime I see her face. Markings seem more appropriate. They're basically sea people.

It happens. I recall one time looking at my Shepard and thinking "how odd, he doesn't have eyelids!

Or sometimes one of my male Sheps wouldn't have any teeth. ![]()
It could be a facial marking as well. The marking across her eyes also feathered around her cheeks. Her eyelashes isn't clearly visible but doesn't mean it wasn't there.

gosh this amount of speculation of something you see in a couple seconds.
