how big or small do you think their role will be?

 

No aliens have had as much screen time as them.  Not even the ultra beloved by fans Asaris.

 

 

- Early conceptual prototype vid had a Krogan roaring

 

- Older trailer vid had a Krogan charging alongside N7 into combat

 

- Explorers wanted poster features a Krogan

 

- Leaked footage showed two Krogans [pink pimp suit stink grenade and Krogan behind the crates]

 

- Recent trailer shows a Krogan on a ship, a Krogan hanging out with N7, and what looks to be another Krogan using crates for cover

 

- Rumored leaked survey mentioned a Krogan and he was given a name early on

 

-Bioware itself stated that it's not Mass Effect without the Krogans

 

 

Simply put Bioware enjoys showing off the Krogans.

Krogans are good soldiers/are tough, so they can provide a good defense/offense in ground combat, should the natives of Andromeda get a little upset by our visit.

 

So this makes it rather obvious to take them with us.

My current tinfoil hat is that we'll be trying to minimize the damage a group of krogan do to the Andromeda locals.

Plus they're used to contracting out their combat.

I no longer have to kick a guy out a window of a sky scraper, now I can just tell my krogan to dangle him and let him drop.  Advancements are being made.

I love the thought of some uppity Andromeda natives getting tough with us claiming this is "their galaxy" and that there's "no room for aliens".

 

Then we introduce them to the krogan. "Liberation" ensues
