Short, stupid question, not worth a thread, but are we allowed to discuss information from leaks here? I don't want to get banned.
Are we allowed to discuss leaks here?

You've been around long enough to know the answer to that.

Basically you're mordokai and rigby.
If you talk about a leak while doing your work your fine.
If you stop to post direct video links to leaks you're fired.

Unless the "leak" includes the entire early script for the game, Bioware doesn't give a toss about leaks. Leaks do Bioware's job for them. Hyping and spoiling.
We've gotten far more info out of that one survey leak than anything Bioware has given us in 2 years.

Yes, that's my point. The Tempest in the trailer confirms that survey leak, so we can go wild on it now

What about the gameplay leak from 2 months ago that shows the same scene from the new e3 video. Like, right down to the exact establishing shot, human male character, krogan, and squad mates.
Except overall it looked like an ambient-modded mass effect 2, which is why they probably dont want to show gameplay yet. Hopefully the whole game will look like the e3 trailer gameplay snippets and not the leak.........

Considering it's still up, that was most likely a Bioware leak camouflaging it as internal leak. It's most likely early alpha stuff

Idk it's pretty common for artists, including 3D and effect artists, to post reels to their website. Latest work the better, and who doesn't want to show off they did effects work on the new Mass Effect game.
I just really hope it's "early". It really didn't look like a next-gen frostbite game.

The leak of footage from 2014? I'm guessing the game doesn't look like that footage anymore.

Yeahh, but BioWare hasn't really shown us much that says so, so I still worry. I also worry because they used the same scene at E3 2016 multiple times. The mocap session they teased long ago was also that scene.... For the most ambitious mass effect game to date, it's pretty repetitive.

Personally, I'm not worried; I just think that Bioware are keeping their cards close to their chest at the moment, not showing much until they know for certain that the stuff they show will stay in the game (they got raked over the coals in the past for including things in their trailers that didn't appear in the finished games).
