He was poisoned by another krogan though, while N7 guy and his krogan were approaching the site.

The leaked footage was from 2014 though, so it might be the same character but the design has changed.

I hope so. I'd love to obliterate some arrogant humans (Alliance of Cerbe 'R' Us).

Watch it again, please, N7's krogan has the same armor as back then.

That what we did in the first game.

Rookie Spectre taking on the most badAZZ Spec

Shepard was already a military hero, pretty much humanity's best, selected to enter the most exclusive special operations program in the galaxy. It's also why them not knowing about so many elements of the setting made little sense.

From what I've gathered, the Andromeda PC is much more of a noob. So the dynamic wouldn't be the same. Perhaps we don't even start as a Pathfinder, and become one over the course of the story.

I'd love a story if the N7 there kills your perspective 'boss' too.

He may be N7 but that doesn't mean he's experienced.

I guess we're the civilian branch of the operation and the N7 dude takes the bullying too far and we go "no taxation without representation" and refuse to drink tea anymore. Then we try to unite the colonies while the N7 goes rogue and tries to quell the rebellion with alien superpower help.

I'm pretty sure you don't attain the highest possible Special Forces rank in humanity without some experience and at least basic knowledge of the galaxy's other races (if only on a ''know thy enemy'' basis), and 2 out of 3 backgrounds do have said experience.

It just didn't make much sense for Shepard to be so ignorant of the setting's background. It's like a Delta Force operative not knowing what Russia is.

We are the N7 guy. It's so obvious.

It was stated otherwise by bioware. So at this point, the opposite is obvious.

Last year teaser shows N7 doing the travelling at the "helm" of what is clearly the same "helm" seen here in this teaser. That's also when the devs told us N7 wasn't the player character and how people discovered the Ryder name (dogtags near the "helm").

It is possible that tattoo guy is only getting poisoned and thrown off a cliff by a Krogan though.

Not really, I think most alliance ships have the same design when it comes to navigation and the galaxy map and just because it looks similar doesn't make it the same ship necessarily. Even so the first helm was much smaller from what we could see.

N7 guy is an undercover cerberus agent called Lai Keng.

lol would've given a like but I'm out as of now so have a taco instead.

I was talking about leading an expedition and a high number of people.

Sheaprd is already either a sole survivor, a war hero or a notoriously ruthless operative when we start ME, so it's not like he/she had no experience. And that's only in ME1 while in the sequels Shepard is pretty much the heroic messiah and the only one who can save the galaxy!

It depends on the type of experience. We are N7 if that isn't obvious enough but leading an expedition and arms full of people and establishing colonies, that's quite something.

I don't think we will be playing the leader of the expedition though.  Maybe 'a' leader a member which is high up in the expeditions hiearchy, but the leader, I doubt it?

Yeah that's what I'd want too, someone who's a part of the expedition team but isn't some kind of war hero like Shepard. And to the N7 we'd be just another grunt in the team. I think it'd have a chance to let us see our character grow and get more experienced and in command, to finally become someone who can be a leader.

Bioware will pay on the day they don't make me an N7. That is if my analysis of information is wrong.
