I've found out how to jumptopoint using debugmode.

How do you jump to another map?

Thanks in advance.

You mean jump to a different area?

It's the same command, just add the area tag at the end.

To obtain the tag, right-click the area in the toolset, then Properties > Advanced.

For example,

dm_jumptopoint 20 30 BandiPeacockPalace

I've come to a couple of doors that I cannot get past in Eryndlyn in one of the houses.  I believe getting past one would give me the key to getting past the other.

However, there is no clue how to open the door, except it needs an item.  It may be that this item was in the Thayan camp I can no longer travel back to.

Therefore I can 'jump' to the next floor up, or abandon the module.  I'd rather the former :).

Why not use Jumptopoint to go back to the Thayan camp to look for this item?

You can get the area tag by opening the Theyan camp area in the toolset, as mentioned above.

If that fails, obtain the x y coordinates of a point behind one of the doors by opening your current area in the toolset and placing the cursor at the desired position. The x y coordinates are shown at the bottom left of the screen.

The easiest trick of jumping using debug mode is to press . (dot) while in debug mode - this will give you list of locations to jump to.

EDIT: of course you may end up in some strange position, but then you fix it with x y coordinate jump :)

I have only recently learned that myself. All those years of opening modules in toolset, looking up tags.. which were Area001 for every second area..

I even pestered some folks to clean up area tags, eh.
