If Turians were dropped from Andromeda

We saw the asari, krogan, salarian and, of course, humans in the EA Play trailer. We also saw a race similar to the Yahg in the video, maybe a new Andromeda race or possibly a salarian experiment gone wrong. But I find it strange that we have not seen a turian in any of the videos released by BioWare.

What would the reaction be if turians don't make it to Andromeda?

I will say that with everything I have read here on the BSN the turians were the least likely race to be dropped in the series.

We already started a discussion about this here  ^^

(and I will be mad if they drop them)

They'd probably fall a long way to the bottom?

The reaction? Do you see the threads about Asari being confirmed. Imagine the opposite and times it by Garrus.

I tink they'll make it.

Whether we get one as squadmate or not is different story.

The turian ark ship gets lost and you need to find it, big part of the main quest, spoiled it for you, but you asked for it.

Ark ships are always in the last place you look.

Maybe their ark was running behind because it launched later because it still needed to be calibrated.

And when someone tells the engineer to calibrate the drive core he says "Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some conversations."

Maybe they're saving them for the last? Or it's supposed to be a surprise? Who knows, they likely don't want to reveal all their cards at once. It didn't seem to me that they were trying to give a good overview anyway.

I sincerely don't believe they'd drop the turians. They're one of the trademark races of the ME universe after all and very popular. And after Garrus' success as both comrade and love interest? They'd be shooting themselves in the foot. (Plus, people would probably set the forums on fire. Maybe even the seat of the company.)

Nothing surprising. They didn't showcase salarians either (there was just one spotted near the hologram of the planet). I'm sure turians will be there. I'd like to see some sassy turian squadmate with the charisma of Saren. Or better yet a female one.

On one hand it would make sense for every council race and perhaps even non-council races to be represented because this is probably a council

initiative due to required resources and technology.

On the other hand, Dextro planets are supposedly very rare on the MW, so maybe the risks were judged as too great for Dextro-based life forms.

Not happening. Turians WILL be in the game.

They're not. You have three main races and Krogan. Wouldn't make sense to count them out.

I'm sure that all big races will be in the game (Salarian, Korgan, Asari and Turian). I mean if the council approved such a project I'm sure the Turians with their military expertise will come along.

My hopes are still up for some Quarians (they were rare to encounter outsite of their Flotilla already. I think we only get to meet one male on Omega, and a female on the Citadel and on some Asari Planet I think, so the chances are small but still there are some. I mean I can imagine that some other races hired them for their tech knowledge even if they are not popular among them.) and the Volus because I can imagine they have high interest in opening up a new market.

Maybe we get to see some Hanar as well to bring the word of the enkindled to other places.

But I have little to no hope for the Elcor (because they already hate traveling in the milky way, so I doubt they are up for a new galaxy) and the Vorcha, because they offer nothing and alone have not the means for such an expedition. I really wish to see the Drell and the Batarians again and maybe finally a Raloi but I have no arguments for why they should come along.
