Besides, if she were anything like Sera, she'd have awoken with a belch, a fart, a few swear words, and then started scheming to prank her still sleeping ship mates. No such insipid stupidity was evident here.

I don't see how she looks like sera at all. Maybe you're going blind. Go to an eye doctor man.

Er... it looks nothing like her
Not at all indeed. She does look like 'random action hero girl' similar to a whole slew of semi-recent games so I guess this is the go-to thing now. I don't particularly mind though, I thought she looked fine.

She's likely the PC, so you'll be able to change her as you wish.

In Frostbite everyone looks bloated and shiny
No it does not. Do you feel the need to repeat this in every topic you post in?

There were characters in DAI whose faces weren't bloated or shiny.

She does look slightly like Sera, they should probably stop with their non-pretty-ladies campaign. Dont' get me wrong, I like Sera as a character, and I hate the oversexualized barbie-girl objects in videogames, but looking good=\= oversexualized.
Whether they are able to create a good-looking character on the FB is all the different question, hehe...
Also, they could've shown her from the back, that would've spared them some CC-designing time. Like Inquizitor was never seen with helmet off in the trailers. Ambiguity is a good thing.

How do we know that the human female at the end was a main character or the PC though?

my biggest gripe.. the human figure doesn't seem to match the actress voice.

I like Sera but I thought she looked like a cross between the new lara croft and sera.
Now about the trailer and her words after waking up......

Well I see the chuckleheads are already complaining about the female character at the end of the trailer. She may or may not be the female protagonist but who cares if she is? You see chuckleheads there is this thing called a character creator in which you can make the kind of character you want.

We don't, but that what would make sence, no? The only voiced character in the trailer can hardly be a random girl with a pony-tail.

Considering I recall complaints about some female characters being not attractive and ugly in ME, ME2, DA2 and ME3, I'd like to know when this campaign actually started.

Some tweets asking about more details for cosplaying (or something along the line) the player character's armour in the trailer were replied by Bioware without denying that she's not the PC, so I think she has good chances to the the PC.
