Hi, folks, I am trying to catch up!

 

My understanding is that the Andromeda is due in 2017

 

Is there a specific idea on what is happening to the Mass Effect afterwards? Or is BioWARE still looking into the new IP? I did not like Dragon Age, really like what I have seen from Mass Effect so far (save for the combat, ouch) so I was wondering what BioWARE is planning other than the DA?

No one knows, but since the next DA started development relatively recently, it's probable that the new IP will appear next.
