I might roll with a Fem Ryder for my first playthrough.  Traditionally I have always made dudes for first playthroughs but might change it up.

Kamen Ryder is a name I am considering because whenever I hear Ryder, I keep thinking of Kamen Rider. I do believe I'll go with that for the first run.

The Character in the new Trailer is confirmed to by Ryder... and she look very young.

 

Unlike Shepard who was over 30 when ME 1 starts. But Shepard was already an Elite N7 Veteran Soldier ad this time. Ryder was presented as a beginner, probably not  old enough to be a parent.
