The things that the Witcher franchise "improved on" are things I want far away from RPGs I enjoy.

 

One of the Witcher 3's greatest improvements to the genre was the fantastic job it did of providing an open world with a massive amount of meaningful, story driven side quest content with full cutscenes, dialogue choices, etc. That's an area where many people feel that DAI fell short. Since MEA also has alot of open world elements, its not a bad idea to take some inspiration from Witcher 3, atleast in this area. I don't understand how any BIoware fan would be against having tons of story driven side quest content.

Oh god, more about "romance". So they've wasted time expanding another frivolous feature. Great

 

Are you actually surprised or just using this as an excuse to complain? If you have followed Bioware games for the past decade or so this focus on romances should surprise no one.
