@Gavin_J_Porter Ryder is a last name. And the dog tags found in the N7 day trailer belong to another...

Can anyone remember if we could see in the trailer whether or not  the dogtags were marked with an N7?

Because if so, that might mean the N7 we've been seeing is related to Ryder. Oh, I'm hoping so: I really like the N7 Bro-Bro theory.

So I looked up a screenshot of the scene where the dogtags are in and checked but it seems like they are only marked by letters.

Would be an embarrassment if they didn't include it now that even Bethesda is doing hair movement.

Hairs physics is good, though they should step up in the hair/beards quality as well. At least, make them decent compared to the other games on the same timeframe.

it all depend, on a base on what they selling, Witcher 3 Hair look good but they have a deal with Nvida and even it feel weird that on only geralt have nice hair/beards compare to everyone else.

Even with the focus on Geralt, he rest of the characters' hairs and beards look far better then in DAI though. The level of hair quality in DAI is seriously bad (and goes beyond hairs and beards on characters. Cullen's lion pelt looks ridicolous as well).

Again, I don't want the hairs and beards to be top notch quality or the best in gaming. I want them to be decent enough so that they don't look out of place compared to the rest.

totally agree with you here. I just hope they dont pull a move like Witcher 3 where only the main character and monster use the super dinamic hair. I know they use it only on him bc it will tax the CPU to much to have evry singler NPC with real hair (it lag me a little when i get a big pack of wolfs).

But for the little we have saw of ME A, i know they have improve alot, the facial expression on that asari was out of this world. So i have my hopes high about the hair this time around.

This is why I said earlier in the week that we need to keep getting Mac in front of the camera, so to speak. Aaryn never cracks, but Mac gives the goods. Maybe he's choosing to drop hints, or maybe he can't help himself.

I honestly wish they showed the N7 guy's face just so men could watch while women commented on his face.

They confirmed the male PC was in the trailer, but they referred to the one with the white armour. The N7 was already confirmed to be a different one, and the fact that he appeared in the trailer along with another male character with a different armour (now confirmed as the PC) supports this.

I don't see how the character can be green, untested and be N7. Being N7 demands you have already had lots of real world experience and are already a proven quantity; the best of the best. You'd need a fair amount of experience just to get into the ICT. After that you'd have to earn the rank of N6, which is no small feat as even people who only make N1 are held in the upmost regard. N7 is only awarded based on your actual repeated stellar performance in the field. The protagonist is not an N7.

The N7 character is probably someone else who will probably die at some point like Razak in Starship Troopers. I'm guessing the protagonist is the John Rico type who will rise to the occasion.

+1, I don't think we're N7 either. We might become N7 in the span of the game(s) but I don't think we start off as such.

Wait a minute, so it was non-reaper FTL. I do hope there is some explanation behind this, other than "Discharge? What is it?".

We don't know that either. A reaper-type drive doesn't mean Reaper-spec capabilities. We aren't exactly flying something as small as a Reaper, and we're using (at best) experimental/reverse engineered Reaper tech, not Reaper tech itself.

Don't invent an incompatibility where none exists.

Okama's Razor. If reaper speed allows to get there in 300 years, convienient FTL would take twice as much. Which matches the time Walters mentioned. I don't invent anything, simplest logic here.

BTW Reapers are small now?

Where does that 300 year figure come from?  The Reapers are capable of traveling more than 8000xFTL!?

There were multiple threads on this. Reapers can travel 30 light-years a day. Distance between MW and Andromeda is 2.5 millions light-years + a little inside MW/Andromeda. You can figure this out.

I think the exact outcome of that sum was 230 years, Reaper ftl non-stop to Andromeda.
