Well so far our protagonist is clearly male which sucks we'll have the whole I didn't know I could be woman protagonist in this game yet again. I wouldn't count the woman at the end of the trailer because why place our hero at the end of the trailer and saying something uninspiring? If she was replace by a male and that was the hero he wouldn't wake up from cryo and he wouldn't be saying we made it. Male version would be kicking assets and taking names. She's more then likely the LI and I'd be surprised if BW comes out later and goes nope that's the fem protag. More to OP point though, I don't think the protagonist would be as voiceless and the inqusitioner I had a lot of points wondering why everyone was talking for me or I couldn't come up with the plan but my npc's could I couldn't help but ask sometimes whose the leader in this scene? I didn't mind the genderless box cover that was fine and I did appreciate the intent they had in the trailers showing off all the species you could be. We won't be muti species like that here though. I'd be again surprised if we get a snippet were we could be team member B who ends up being whomever we chose for that spot so in round about we'd play as insert species for this mission.

Ok, I don't know how to tell you this , Destroy Raiden, but devs have said there is no race selection. We play as humans, not krogan, sorry
