jumped on XBOX this weekend, and never had a problem getting into various PUG matches within 30 seconds... I guess I'm a bit astonished anyone still plays, much less the number of people that I bumped into through the various matches.
There were even some relative lowbees out there (not maxed uncommons, etc.).
Testament to how awesome this game is... I guess that is until 2042 when the next one actually comes out LOL!

On topic: it's still a fun game overall, plus manifest building and challenge chasing can be highly addictive.

I've recently started playing again,and have had zero problems finding or filling lobbies.The player population has been steady on PC since the game released over 4 years ago.
Depending on time of day PC plats can be tough to fill. Otherwise, ditto.
It's free if you own the game, it's decent gameplay, you can hop on, play a game or two, hop off without having people screaming at you that you're playing it wrong or whining about how OP your chosen 'hero' is or how Blizzard has to nerf/boost someone's pet character.
That's the advantage of co-op multiplayer that doesn't do PvP at all. The games are friendly and fun.

Rak told me last night that someone is DoS attacking Planetside 2 until shotguns are removed from the game.
If it were up to me I would respond by doubling Certification rates for Shotgun kills for the next month. Sadly it's not up to me.
