No, it was Mac Walters.
Hudson isn't even with Bioware anymore. He's with Microsoft now.
Please, Casey got off this sunken ship ages ago.
I would dare to say by the time of ME3 the franchise was resting in a watery grave already. Please, Casey got off this sunken ship ages ago.
sunken ship? If you have so much disdain for the next ME then what are you doing here? This isn't call of duty we're talking about. Please, Casey got off this sunken ship ages ago.

Casey sort of sunk the ship, or tried. I think he was both afraid they'd make him keep working on it if he didn't burn it to the ground (he was right), and was possibly a little reticent to leave his baby in the hands of others. This is pure conjecture on my part. I don't know the guy personally.
He definitely intended Mass Effect to be a trilogy, though, and made no effort to preserve the setting for future games. He also made it clear he was ready to move on to new things. As much as he loves Mass Effect, he'd devoted a decade of his life to it. I'm sure he's had to sideline dozens of other ideas in that time. And then it all ended so badly, with the reception of those endings, deservedly or not.
I respect Casey and thank him for Mass Effect, as well as a couple other all time favorites. Still, he nearly sunk Mass Effect.
I'm here because I like ME, but I understand that this isn't the best RPG known to men. I'm not going to sit here and act as if this franchise hasn't failed my expectations. It slowly went down hill, and not just ME either. I'm here to deliver my criticisms and commentary. You don't like, fine, there's many here that don't. But oh well. This place is to discuss ME, and that's what I'm doing; discussing this abomination of a game.sunken ship? If you have so much disdain for the next ME then what are you doing here? The ship he scuttled? Please, Casey got off this sunken ship ages ago.
You're right. A lot of people I guess are ungrateful.I like all this. I respect him for creating all this for us to enjoy.
The ship he scuttled?
At least the Captain of the Titanic went down with his ship after steering it an into an iceberg....
AND he led Walter behind to drown. Tsk, tsk. Not cool, Casey.
