that's right.Don't get me wrong, I'm completely ok with Ryder being N7, but I just don't know...

Cora, blonde biotic. Drak, Krogans. Gameplay leak theres a blonde woman wearing same armor and a Krogan. My argument makes a good point. Why did our player wear N7 armor in the gameplay leak? N7 means too much to bioware for.them not to make a Ryder an N7. You've played as N7 in ME3 MP, you know just how bad@$$ they are. I won't stop till I know the truth. I'll go on Facebook, Twitter. I'll tweet them and I won't stop till I get my answer. I believe we are N7. I'm willing to fight for that belief. For some reason it means that much to me. That's what N7 means to me. Honor, Courage, bad@$$ness,etc.They might've changed plans about us being N7. Also, there's no indication those characters in the E3 2015 trailer are Drak and Cora,
They have literally no reason to lie about the N7 not being our character. Why would they lie about it?
The Tempest migh've not be our ship at first. Or maybe he has a similar ship. There are many possibilities you're not considering.
It is possible that we're N7, as it's possible we're not, It seems strange howewer that our character in recent trailers appeared without the N7 insignia but with the Ai insignia, which they are not starting to use in their shirt as well. I don't care either way at the moment. It doesn't change the fact that the N7 character we saw so far is not the protagonist, even if the latter will be N7.
Not being a N7 doesn't mean you're an average joe. Kaidan and Ashely weren't N7 and they did became Spectres. And N7 aren't the only 'trained warriors' out there.

In the leaked video you can't see if that armor has the N7 logo and the armor they showed at SDCC looks more like the one they showed at E3

if you analyze close enough in the video and the pics it's the same armor. You gotta have good eyes though. I was told the protagonist would be N7, I expect nothing less.In the leaked video you can't see if that armor has the N7 logo and the armor they showed at SDCC looks more like the one they showed at E3

To be fair, you were told that the protagonist would "have something to do with N7", not be N7.

If you have something to do with N7, you're N7. Watch the panel again. He said "you see N7 on the armor so the protagonist likely has something to do with N7". N7 on his/her armor. To be fair, you were told that the protagonist would "have something to do with N7", not be N7.

I see some differences between these two armors

but I dunno maybe we're N7 maybe we're not, we'll see when the game comes out.

Not necessarily. For example if we have a connection to that N7 guy that is "something to do with N7".
I agree at the time they were promoting us being a N7. But now they are promoting us being green, untested, etc. A N7 can't be those things.

Buy yourself a beer, since it's a long way to the US, and anything I send would end up undrinkable by the time it's delivered.

There's also either a "G2" or "02" on Ryder's back. Was recently tipped off about it.
That looks like Golf-2. Golf stands for G in the NATO phonetic... Military theories, here I come...
So, Ryder is part of a "Golf Squad" - the second fireteam of this squad? ...damn, I'm starting for information here.

So the N7 program is going to become the misguided grey wardens of ME:A?
I truly hope not.

It's actually better if we don't start there; level 1 ME1 Shepards didn't make a heck of a lot of sense.

I don't give a lot of props to Bioware these days but that armor design is freaking amazing.

The chestplate is actually different. Saying it's the same is like saying LBT 6094 and CIRAS have the same chestpiece.
Given the way Bio gameplay always works, I don't see how the PC will be able to avoid becoming an N7 by the endgame. You're simply going to be playing a special forces operative with the highest level of proficiency; might as well have the badge to match the facts.

It is my theory that the N7 in the first trailer is actually Ryder at the END of the main game.

Could also be O2, as in Oxygen. This planet appears to be fine for breathing, so the helmet is probably there for aesthetic purposes.

untested explorer. We don't have much experience exploring but we are combat trained. To a high degree as it seems. A combat trained yes but "untested explorer". I hate to use Mail Leng as an example but whatever. He was only in the Alliance for four years. Not that long. He graduated N7 when he was only 20. If he hadn't falsified his documents he would have been 22. Pretty young. Not necessarily. For example if we have a connection to that N7 guy that is "something to do with N7".

I think it would be a whole, then. It really looks a lot like G. As for the helmet, I do think it's there because cranial protection.

Well... chestplates are different. Rest of the armor looks kind of similar, though shoulder pieces seem slightly different.

So im guessing if we choose to play as the male Ryder, the girl/woman in the trailer becomes our sister or something? Or have I got this completely wrong?

I think whether we are male or female we will get the same basic scenes like waking up, but it sounds like we do have a sibling or at least related family members who could use the other preset appearance. There are a few people guessing that the person in the "Ghost Riders in the Sky" trailer will be related to you.

chest plate is a snap on.
The N7 is solid, whereas the orange suit's has some sort of "slide" function on the front of it. I don't know how better to describe it, but I can't see it on the N7 chestplate.

I think so. If you play Ryder as a man, the default/personalize woman version becomes the sister.
If you choose to play Ryder as a woman, the default/personalize man version of Ryder becomes the brother.
(Honestly, it's a very intelligent way of using both VA in the game)
For me the key is the N7. In the moment they show a N7 woman at us, it will be pretty possible the N7 figure is the sibling (male or female, maybe antagonist?). However, right now we only have a N7 guy who could be a character on his own.

that's because it's a snap on. That's part of the customization. Its covering. It's the same suit. I looked it up on images and it was same suit. Color, snap on, there's N7 on the arm. At comic con in 2014 where you see the male and female her in red and blue you can't really see it on the male but zoom in on female, there's N7 on the arm in blue. The N7 is solid, whereas the orange suit's has some sort of "slide" function on the front of it. I don't know how better to describe it, but I can't see it on the N7 chestplate.
