that's because it's a snap on. That's part of the customization. Its covering. It's the same suit. I looked it up on images and it was same suit. Color, snap on, there's N7 on the arm. At comic con in 2014 where you see the male and female her in red and blue you can't really see it on the male but zoom in on female, there's N7 on the arm in blue.

Alright, I'll ask. Are we talking about the undersuit, or the armor pieces?

What do you mean?

Well, there's the undersuit, which is likely some sort of ballistic weave. Then there's the add-on armor pieces, ie the chestplate, the shoulder guards, shinguards, etc.

And right now... I'm not sure if the disagreement doesn't come from us talking about different parts of that whole suit of armor all along.

Well I saw N7 on the arm of the suit, not a snap on. The add on I was talking about is covering the default bare armor plat that should have the N7 on it. If it was on the arm, chances are its on the chest but the snap on covers it up. The helmet I'd different from the one seem in the 2015 trailer. Considering we saw two main squadmembers with one N7 guy I'm wondering why bio would say isn't the protag. We saw him being controlled in gameplay leak and with a 3 person squad. I like to think they were just screwing with us but at this point with people as stubborn as they are, I don't know. To be honest I don't buy two playable main characters and I don't like it. Didn't like it in Halo 5. I just want to be Ryder.

I see...

And yeah, I just want Ryder. Leave dual protagonist for DA4, where it might make sense. The Shepard is dead, Long Live Ryder!

That was from quite awhile ago. Things could've changed sense then. If you look at Ryder's outfit when she's waking up that looks like her underarmor for her armor, it's the same/similar. It'd make sense for us not to be N7 being that we're starting out not so renown. N7 is for "the best of the best", so we may not be there.

I don't think so my friend. Default armor. If they dont make me N7 I'm gonna give Bioware so much ****!!!!! More than they ever got with the endings. I have my beliefs and my evidence. I'm sticking to it. I know how much N7 means to me and them. Hell, they even have a day named after it. I also noticed at 56 seconds of the trailer that we see a woman working with a computer. On it was probably fem Ryder with the female version of the N7 armor. It didn't match the design of the white armor. Hmmm.

I could see us earning our way into the program, but I doubt we'll start out as N7. N7s are somebodies, we're not too much of a hero at the beginning.

This is BioWare we're talking about.

If this was Star Trek a harmonious crew of virtuous loveliness would bring a message of peaceful colonisation to Andromeda.

But, it's not, I think the Ark ship (or fleet) will be bringing the seeds of destruction with it, with the drama, story and fan tears that BioWare likes.

Making that tension about family makes it more personal and with more tears.

Being that this is a BioWare game, I'm pretty confident at least half of our family members will die. Or have the possibility of death.

We'll see. Being N7 doesn't exactly mean we're high and mighty. We are judged by our heroic actions.

You have to complete special rigorous training and graduate from the program in order to become N7.

I don't need to read that. I've read it a million times over. You have to survive combat situation in an admirable and efficient way. Just because your N7 doesn't automatically earn you hero status. Shepard was already a hero before ME1 because of his actions in the Alliance and because he was made the first human spectre. We are different.

It won't be. I'll still play it and preorder the most expensive edition but I will give Bioware so much **** for the rest of my life that the endings feedback will be minuscule at best. N7 is a big deal to bioware so I have no worries anyway. I was told my character would be N7 and that's what I expect.

Does that mean that Deep Space Nine is the most "Bioware" of the Star Trek franchise?

Knew I liked that show for a good reason!

I hope the ultimate mega super edition is better quality than DAI's. Most of it broke pretty easily...

how would you get that training when you're in Andromeda and likely won't have contact with the Milky Way

I believe we already had the training in the MW. We know our character get to wear it. It was seen in the leak and trailer. Just because we are N7 doesn't automatically mean we're a high and mighty hero. It just means we have a high level of combat training. We have earn our hero status through heroic actions. I swear to god when they reveal the protagonist info and we're N7 I'm making a celebration thread.
