She's creepy and unattractive.

We already got way too much Asari action in the trilogy. Leave them be as CREW members.

Fill the role of Kelly Chamber or the nurses

I don't think being unattractive is a reason to say she shouldn't be on our team. (I'm also simply not attracted to Asari because tentacle hair creeps me out, but she still seems like a sweet kind of adorable)

She could be a nurse or something, maybe have an alien pilot this time around even. (If we only drive the mako I don't expect that Ryder will be the pilot)

Someone did surprise her with a weapon pointed at the head.

 

Many people find her adorable so having her killed early on sparks drama.

On another note would it be wise to fill The Ark up with a high number of Salarians.

 

They have crap life spans.
