What's one thing Bioware could do in Andromeda that would make you really angry?

This isn't War Thunder. I don't think they can make me THAT angry...

They would make me angry simply, if the game ends up feeling unpolished/hasted.

Blame would mostly go on EA, not BioWare itself... but still...

If multiplayer were required to get the full and/or best single player experience.

I'm fine with its inclusion, but I'm not okay with it impacting the main campaign.

If it took too many ques from DAI. Here's a list:

>70% of the side content being fetch quests
>no cinematic convo
>short and rushed main storyline

I might as well copy this from the Biggest Concerns thread. It applies here.

Well, here's my two:

1) Technical problems. Things like COD, stuttering, getting stuck in the terrain and more kill my immersion no matter what. Now that they aren't trying to work on 5 platforms and 2 generations of consoles, I'm hoping that the game is cleaner this time. The patch cycle was bonkers as a result.

Related to that, there is also the DLC problems I've constantly had over the last few years. In every single ME and DA game I've ever bought, I've had to do varying degrees of fighting just to get most of the DLCs to work. From reinstalling the game twice to get both the DLCs and the expansion to work, (DA:O Ultimate Edition,) moving files in and out of my game due to conflicting DLCs (Legacy and the Exalted Prince, DA2) to needing a third party program (ME2 with all of the DLC,) or file replacements (ME3.)

Even JoH, which was the last DLC I got to play, didn't have the schematics show up at Haven or at Skyhold. Despite me trying every trick in the book including reinstalling the entire frigging game. It doesn't matter if I go through Origin or the offical site either. I have a lot of trouble installing the DLC I paid for legally. <glare>

2) Lack of music. I can't let this one go, and I've tried to. I'm still very annoyed to this day that the DA:I OC had almost no music outside of quests like Wicked Hearts. I'm also not going to be very happy if they go, "A lack music is immersive," again. That maybe true for some, but at least allow us to hear any planet/zone music with a toggle. Otherwise, the sounds of nature isn't something that engages me.

Give us a memorable soundtrack, one that always makes me think of the game. Aside from "The Dawn Will Come," most of the DA:I soundtrack doesn't stand out to me. What little there is. Whereas I hear the galaxy map theme or Vigil's Theme, I immediately think of ME.

Already said it will feel seamless, but NOT BE ULTIMATELY REQUIRED.

Hahahaha, yeah, right, dream on. Or smoke on, because nobody whose mind is stable could say that. I played the games.

Um, I know that. I also know that this engine has some problems. I didn't say I would rage quit and declare my utter hatred for the game because of it. But that does make me angry when any game does that. I still love SR4 and that game can still have points where the player is stuck and needs a reset. Or when the app crashes to the PS4 homescreen. I still hate when it happens and I do grumble about it.

I'm hoping that, since BioWare has had more of a chance to work with the engine, that it will be smoother for ME:A. So I'm willing to give them a shot. There's no good excuse to me for the lack of music though.

They've spent five years with the best tech. Even if there are bugs they'll be fixed updates I'm sure. Trust me. ;)

Actually DICE LA worked very hard on Frostbite for about two years now. Battlefield 4 multiplayer is in excellent shape now, and its singleplayer never had any problems out of the box.

I strongly suspect that the technical mess that is DAI is on BioWare, not Frostbite.

I think you've seen enough to make your decision. I know. I have. I better not get some whack pre order bonuses though.

The thing is not how much I have seen, it's how much of it will actually be in the final product. And I have hardly seen enough. No gameplay, for example, which I consider rather crucial information.

I'm having some faith, but I do harbor some doubts. I also know that as talented as the devs teams are, there are still bugs like the ones I mentioned in the final patches. I know it happens, but I'm hoping that it's less severe this time than it was with DA:I the first five months after launch.

They'd also better not leave out the music again. I haven't quit complaining about that since I played DA:I for the first time at release. That's the only aspect of DA:I were I felt I was completely screwed over and that makes me mad to this day. If the ME team doesn't leave out the soundtrack for the overwhelming majority of the planets, then I'll be a lot happier with the final product.

This, plus:

- not including quarians or turians as our squadmates

- way too big importance of krogans/krogan squadmate (because that race is often seen in promotional/leaked stuff and I'm not a big fan of them)

- neutral/bland voice of our protagonist (something that happened in DA:I)

- technical mess, constant crashes (DA:I...)

This, and they really should borrow implementation ideas from Dragon Age 2 side quests or from Mass Effect 1 too, were even side quests had multiple outcomes, i think those were nicely done.

And make a proper controlling system for pc, DAI's was a mess.

A nice PC UI would be good too.

Squad members locking up during combat. That was a pretty common problem in DA:I and I don't want to see it in ME:A.

You played both DAI and tw3 and realized that tw3 is the more stronger and complete product. Me too.

Do you not want a brother/sister, or do you not want a brother/Sister as a dual protagonist? Because in the former case the ship already sailes, almost surely.
