Totally slipped my mind that Male Shep was able to get that conversation, haven't replayed ME2 with a Male Shep for a while.

 

A Mordin romance would have made betraying him on Tuchanka all the worse to watch. Why didn't they do it, the feels?!

Mordin death is hard enough let him sacrifice himself or shooting him in the back.

Stupid salarian with his adorable personality, love of singing and sciency awesome. I like the idea of a romance with character that burst into song, is awesome at science and likes to talk about both.

Ryder can sing? I was thinking... if Shepard made his/her inability to dance his/her trademark, what is Ryder's trademark? Inability to sing properly? Bad haircut? 

And what will be his/her catch phrase? It can't be "I should go". "Here we go again". "Come to Andromeda, they said. It will be fun, they said".

It would be a challenge to write a Krogan romance, considering the "nature" of the race. Although, Mass Effect 2 had a Krogan that spoke and behaved in a civilised manner on Illium. It'll be interesting to finally see this in ME:A as a romance for FemRyder. It could be really funny and could surprise us at the same time. Something different, I suppose.

If by civilized you mean pansy then yes, you are correct.  If he'd been a proper Krogan maybe he wouldn't have ended up as compost for a Rachni nest.

Yes, because the "proper Krogans" we usually meet over the course of the trilogy seem to be too stupid to even find the Rachni nest on their own and would just have ended up killing each otherover some sort of dumb quarrel, before even getting there.

You can romance someone in ME1. As long as you don't romance anyone in ME2, you get this conversation

It's Mordin. He knows everything about everyone. And his hair is full of secrets... 

 

However, I rather see him more asexual than anything else. He hints that Salarians in general have not sexual impulses in general.

I think I'd be in favor of a big "weird ass romance DLC" that will give the jollies to all the fans of "Rammed by the Krogan" and "Taken by the Toaster". Just 24.99...could be a gold mine!
