recently I started noticing a strange noise, really rapid and kind of like a "ping" noise, then I realised it was my mini-map(It makes a sound when you use it) and for some strange reason it keeps flashing and making that annoying ping. At first I thought it was my keyboard but I unpluged it(since it seemed to be doing it by itself) and it still didn't stop it.
Anyone know what I can do to fix this? or what might be causing the problem?

i was just googling this cause it annoys the hell out of me... the genreal consensus is to reboot your machine and the try to play ME2.. im about to try that now...

I solved this problem. I am currently using and AMD dual core processor 4400+. If you have something alone the same series you must download the amd dual core optimizer. google it and it should be the first link.

BlackDragon0620 have right .... If you have a Dual core processor him solution is correct .
