The multiplayer for me3 was actually fairly good, but people aren't playing Mass Effect for the multi player aspect, and it hurt that resources were taken away from the game itself which could have been better allocated to storyline development and plot.

There are a good portion of people who only play MP. And while I like SP more and only played a couple of MP matches to get that frigging trophy, I was surprised that I actually liked it, and I can see the appeal.

But anyway, I guess you're too late, MP is going to be in MEA and the game is in its last stretch and about to be just polished now. They (thankfully) had lots of time to create both modes.

Multiplayer is allocated resources based on expected revenue from its microtransactions. Without that expected revenue, it doesn't get those resources. The scenario where EA plans multiplayer and throws money at it, decides to cancel MP, and then redistributes that money to SP is false.

Also, multiplayer is awesome and many people liked it more than SP.

Speak for yourself. I loved the MP in ME3 and played it almost as much as I played the SP. I'm actively excited for ME:A's MP.

Far too tired of this subject to reply at length.

  1. Resources are separately budgeted so that argument is bunk.
  2. About a third of people don't like it but don't have to do it (see 1)
  3. About a third will play it a little
  4. About a third will play it to an absurd amount (probably more than single player)
  5. It's happening (and it'll be in future ME and DA games too).

The ship already sailed, OP.

Beside, if they scrapped or didn't plan MP the resources allocated to MP won't magically go to SP.

Agreed, I'm here for the RP, not for the Shooter shite.

Multiplayer in ME3 was amazing. It took me a couple years to try it, and I was addicted. 900 hours into it now. I really hope they keep the same game mode, and simply add/tweak it. I don't want PvP. I would like to see more character dialogue/interaction (like Overwatch, but even more).

Actually, I play more MP in ME3 than I do SP, by quite a bit actually.  I have about 200 hours (estimate) in SP, but almost 500 in MP.  This is because even when I'm working through the SP trilogy, or playing other games entirely, I'll flick back to ME3 for a bit of MP fun.
