I want to play ME3 with a save that doesn't come with the default and terrible "dead Wrex" problem, but I really dislike ME2 and already speedran it once a few days ago. Is there any way I can import into ME3 from ME1 or somehow forgo playing ME2 again?

Sort of.

 

Import your game into Mass Effect 2. Play through the prologue until you can save the game. Then save the game and exit.

 

Use Gibbed's Save Editor for Mass Effect 2 with your new Mass Effect 2 save. Set every "character revealed / character recruited / character loyal / character survived" flag that you want. Set every story / plot value that you want. Don't forget the fish. Set credits and resources to the values that you want. Then finally set the 'plot complete' flag to "Shepard survives to fight another day" or whatever that variable is named.

 

Then try importing it into Mass Effect 3. It *should* work if you've been thorough in editing the mass effect 2 save.
